Is that great or bad for Jeb? Can the other guy take Jeb's job?

I was hoping she won the primary so Jeb can wipe the floor with her jittery ass. McBride might actually have a chance, but only liberal true believers will vote for Herr Reno . . . thus ensuring Jeb victory.

What celebration? If Reno won then Bush would be a lock for reelection. Now there will actually be a contest.

Exactly what I am thinking. This is not good news.

I think McBride can be beaten pretty handily by Jeb, although a race against Reno would have been an easier cakewalk.

McBride has no legislative record nor record of public service to which to his supporters can refer. He has run a big law firm --- that's it. And his management of that law firm has been highly questionable. Also he only started filing separate tax returns from his wife in 1999, and now he's fighting tooth and nail to keep her returns a secret. Something stinks.

When you add to that the fact that McBride has already in effect announced that he's in the pocket of the teacher's unions, all in all, I'd say McBride presents the Bush camp with a target rich opportunity.
