Greta Van Susteren just did a "news alert" that Janet Reno's run for Fla. govenor is over. She suffered a "big defeat" at the hands of opponent Bill McBride.

You are over-optimistic. Hillary! will be a formidable opponent when she decides to run. She's ruthless, totally lacking in ethics and morals and will do anything to win. She's also not dumber than dirt like the last Democratic candidate for President.
No defeat is big enough for that hideous excuse for a human being.

Sorry to be the cup of coffee, but I remember how Rush said that there was NO WAY "Neewyoikahs" would elect Hillary! as their U.S. Senator. "The New York media will EAT HER ALIVE!" he said. Yeah, well, they ate her, alright-- all the way to the Senate. Thing is, that witch has more voodoo majik than any two Fates and I don't count her out of anything. I don;t want Hillary for President-- of anything. Class President, Glee Club President, whatever. Don;t just say "she won't win." We gotta get out there and vote against her!

Like Gore, they were all chosen for their slavish loyalty and limited ability to calculate two and two. Clinton didn't want anybody outshining him. Nor did he want anybody who might have the guts to challenge his corruption.
Consequently, none of these inferiors were capable of running a capable campaign on their own. And Clinton wasn't about to back a bunch of midgets.

The Lions have been mediocre for 40-some years now. In the last few years, they've gotten even worse. A 3-13 season will be hailed as a great improvement over last year's 2-14 performance.
