Wouldn't a recount be wonderful!!!
They would tie up valuable campaign time between now and the Nov. election hashing out how some Democrats were disenfranchised by other Democrats.

I have only been following this primary on FR so I'm not sure, but did the impeached rapist make any trips down to FLA to support Reno? I didn't hear of anything so I assumed it was simply another example of how Slick supports those who stuck by him throughout that frat-party of a presidency he ran.

"...Did Janet appear shaken by the news?..." 'Shaken, but not Stirred' as the only actor suitable to play Bond (Sean Connery) would say...
To Stir Janet, you'll need something butch, but leggy.

There will never 'actually be a contest' in Florida until the election scheme is cleaned up there! What ever happened to those voters who voted in New York and absentee in Florida in 2000? As I recall, there were nearly 1000 of them.

If Reno is doing the pouring, you better wear a raincoat or have a bathtub-sized shot-glass.

Reno can now plan for her run for NY Senator in 2008. We'll have a vacancy for her to replace the opening left by the new President. How could she win the Florida primary? All her voters are still in NYC and the Island. They should hold the Fl. primary after Columbus day when the NY metropolitan area snowbirds start to head down to their Florida nests.

If a McBride win is possible then Republicans should have voted for Reno in the primary & Bush in Nov. Thats how it is done in Texas.

A-yep, if McLawyer wins over Jeb this November, it won't be for my lack of effort on Jeb's behalf. The leftmedia certainly has a very obvious agenda to get one of their boys in the governor's seat, and that means McLawyer.
I'm not an overly religious man, but I do tend to live by the motto:
"Pray like it was up to God, work like it was up to you."
If only more "Republicans" around here would get off their arses and assist rather than wasting time on their damned golf-swing.

Like Gore, they were all chosen for their slavish loyalty and limited ability to calculate two and two. I agree, but don't think you understand how big that field is. I heard two local businessmen talking about how they voted in the Dim primary yesterday, and both said they voted for candidates they didn't even know,"just because I like the name." One of them even had the gall to try to tell me that Goober "is a VERY smart man. He graduated from Yale!" He didn't like me telling him the hard lumps in my cats litter box were smarter than Goober, and would have graduated knowing more.
BTW,this guy also started a rant about how "smart Hillary is. She graduated from Yale too,and was at the top of her class." He plans on voting for her if/when she runs for president, and was again unhappy when I told him this was all a lie,and Yale didn't have grade standings. None of this is going to keep him from voting for whatever Dim runs though, including Hillary.

Like Gore, they were all chosen for their slavish loyalty and limited ability to calculate two and two. Point well made. The above not only describes Clinton's cabinet officers, but a high proportion of the Democrat voters, as well...

"Local ABC affiliate in Orlando says Palm Beach, Dade, and Brevard counties are not nearly finished reporting. Reno considering a legal challenge. It seems that the Democrats' strategy in Florida elections will be to purposely screw up the voting in counties where they control the election boards and then make a legal challenge based on their own screw-ups."I think you just nailed their MO......what a bunch of total LOSERS!!!!!!!!!!!!

McBride is as much a liberal scumbag as nearly any other Democrat.
Probably. But the perception is that he is a moderate. It is all about perception. JEB will have to change that.

To begin with, he's a slip-and-fall lawyer (just like John Edwards)I don't know where you get your information. Until he resigned to run for governor, McBride was the managing partner of Holland & Knight, one of the largest full-service corporate law firms in the country.
McBride is also an ex-Marine, but he packed H&K full of every feel-good PC scheme ever dreamed up: "living wage" for staff, pro bono, diversity. The other partners finally got fed up and are turning it around. I understand McBride is not missed.
