They challenged the closing of a Nevada mountain road by foresters trying to protect wildlife and fought the diversion of irrigation water from Oregon farms to help endangered salmon and suckerfish.

Now, western advocates of property rights are taking on the Everglades restoration and promising to bring convoys of cars on a multi-state trek to South Florida for a "Sawgrass Rebellion."

Property-rights campaigns have been mounted before in South Florida in response to conservation programs: over the establishment of Big Cypress National Preserve and the shifting of the Kissimmee River back onto its old, meandering path, said Audubon of Florida senior vice president Charles Lee. "Historically they have meant little to the final outcomes of these [environmental] decisions." Mr. Lee won't be showing up but maybe we can find out where he lives and dump all our trash on his front lawn after the event, for him to recycle.

Maybe his property should be restored to it's "natural hydrology" as he proposes for others. I wonder how he would like that.

"They challenged the closing of a Nevada mountain road by foresters trying to protect wildlife prevent the public from accessing public lands and fought the diversion of irrigation water from Oregon farms to help endangered salmon and suckerfish by enviro-nazis decimating the lives of hundreds of hardworking American families because leftists hold bottom fish more precious.

"I'm going to the beach -- I don't know about anyone else," said Nancy Payton, field representative for the Florida Wildlife Federation's Naples office. "In terms of influencing policy ... I don't know if they'll be that effective." Arrogant b*tch.

I don't think we're much in disagreement on anything.

Besides, once someone is my cyberfriend I don't care what they believe. You can vote for Hillary if you wanted and I'd still think you were cool.

Looking forward to seeing you in Oct. WooooHooo!

Who the He!! does he think he is? He missed half the information. I think we should write him and let him know the other half. He didn't mention that levies were funded but never built and that buying out the homeowners will cost more than building the levies.
