SF to School Kids: Hug a Terrorist for Peace

seems the morons running our school district has found a good way to commemorate our 9/11 dead. Try to understand the terrorists, Islam and give them a big hug.

I don't know which of the grieving relatives of the victims of 9/11 this will please. The leftist administration and the United Educators (teachers union) are far more likely to sympathize with the terrorists, and teach our kids about the root causes of terrorism than they are teaching our kids about respect for the American flag or the travails of our Founders. These alleged educators are firmly in control of our children's education, or perhaps more accurately, of their abduction from reality.Therefore the lesson to the kids commemorating 9/11 is not that we were attacked in by vicious and brutal mass murderers who are supported by a worldwide network of Islamic extremists and terrorists

today, (Saturday) i took my sons to our Public Library... as we were walking up to the entrance, i noticed several people dressed in Middle Eastern attire coming out... as i entered the building, i read a sign that said, "Commemorate Islam Day, 9-7-2002"... i thought, "oh, brother."

For more inclusiveness, they should invite Johnny Walker Lindh's dad to the schools for the kids to hug...it would make it a "Hug the Gay Daddy of a Terrorist for Peace" event...SF must be losing its touch not to have thought of this one.

On September 11, my children's school will be observing the day beginning with the principal reading an excerpt from the Declaration of Independence, they will be singing a patriotic song, and they will have moment of silence for prayer and remembrance. They are also asking all teachers and staff to display their patriotic pride by wearing red, white and blue. Our fifth and sixth grade students will also be discussing heroes and heroism that day.

Quite a contrast to the nonsense put forth by the school in the article.
