That doesn't mean the prevailing winds of social change can't ruffle their feathers. Such is the case with the male members of the Augusta National Golf Club, which has hosted the Masters tournament since 1934.

ROTFLMAO

Griff: You know all the answers. Why don't you call in?

Al: Because I was banned from the radio station for making one innocent comment.

Griff: What did you say?

Al: I simply said we can put a man on the moon, but we have yet to build an attractive woman golfer.

Well anyway Al says at Augusta your in No MAAM's land now baby.

My wife will often travel on weekends to see friends in other parts of the state or in other states that are a short drive away.

Hey, can you have her pick up my wife next time she heads out of state?

;-)

It would be interesting to hear how quiet they would get if Bill Clinton was a member.

It's also interesting to note that Martha Burk, Bill Clinton's 'ho, didn't seem to see this "problem" as a real issue during the 8 year long reign of Big Bill.

She was too busy doing the Monica on Big Bill and their mutual agenda. ;-)

Clinton tried joining many Country Clubs up in NY upon leaving the White House and moving into his new home. NONE would accept his membership.

I remember that, and it was priceless! One of the clubs, at which he was a guest, was a predominantly white club in Florida. Not one peep from the press!

Just another attempt to "deconstruct" anything that operates with predominantly male leadership. It's about time that a male oriented organization had the stones to tell these twits where to stick it.

Why don't you tell us what you mean about the women's golf tour? I am hoping we don't have another 99 score male golfer saying they play better because they are....................

Compared to men, ALL womens sports look like they are in slow motion.

Except for women's volleyball at the collegiate level...on a hard court too, not the wussy sand version.

Those ladies provide the best for their sport!

"Then they can have the female version of the Masters there and be all proud of themselves for having their own copy of Augusta."

Fine idea, but while "the Masters" has a great name and tradition, "the Bitches" would be very hard to establish. Besides, where in San Fransissy-sko can you locate a new course?
