[history]
As the saying goes, birds of a feather flock together -- and if their perches are in private clubs, they have a legal right to do so. That doesn't mean the prevailing winds of social change can't ruffle their feathers. Such is the case with the male members of the Augusta National Golf Club, which has hosted the Masters tournament since 1934.

Liberals are all for forcing tolerance and an end to male chauvinism on their adversaries. Its just not a standard they dream of being held to themselves.

The feminazis are free to start thier own golf club and make it female only.
Then they can have the female version of the Masters there and be all proud of themselves for having their own copy of Augusta.
Until then, they need to shut the hell up and mind their own business.

"denied women access to business deals with club members"
Miss O'Conner thinks that the Constitution guarantees women access to "business deals" with club members? Since when does the Constitution guarantee anyone the right to horn in on a private business deal. I had supposed that it guaranteed the opposite.

Yeh, but I don't think The Coalition for the Liberation of Intermittent Tree-dwellers would appreciate their name being stolen. ;-)

We have freedom of association in this country. This golf club has every constitutional right to keep itself all male. Its no one else's business at all.

Look, these females are paranoid and afraid. They aren't confident or happy and believe to have it all they must ruin the world for the rest of us.
Let the boys have their little golf club and tournament. Then maybe we girls can hit the clearance racks in peace.

I think men's and women's only clubs should be brought back. Part of the reason of high divorce rates is that husbands cannot get away from their wives (and vice versa) in peace for a few hours. Men need "time with the guys" and women need "outings with the girls" I agree! My wife goes out with her female friends occasionally and has a great time. I'm glad she does; I don't feel threatened by it; I don't feel the need to horn in on her fun. And beside, my buddies and I get together, shoot pool, drink beer, smoke cigars, talk about women, and play poker. What a good life!

My wife will often travel on weekends to see friends in other parts of the state or in other states that are a short drive away.
I call these Wild Man Weekends!

They can decide - legally - but these harpies don't care about that. They want what they want and they will pressure anyone they think can help them get what they want.

Guys, keep this up and you may get a visit from the Council for Liberation Of Abbreviations, Cliches, and Acronyms!
To: rbv
I am not sure I understand your post. Are you saying that Augusta will have female members by then, or the vast majority of women don't care that its a male only club and will attend Masters Week with great excitement?
To: Willie Green
"You uppity women I don't understand, why you got to go an try to act like a man,
But before you make your weekly visit to the shrink, you better occupy the kitchen, then liberate the sink,
G-eeeeeee-t Y-ooouuu-r Biscuits in the oven and your buns in the bed, that's what I to my baby said,
Women's liberation is a' going to your h-eeeaaa-d, Get your biscuits in the oven and your b-uuuu-ns in the bed."

How about this link:
NCWO Steeering Committee Not a man on the committee.
Should they be boycotted until this committee "looks like America"?
