Two Novembers ago, while politicos and pundits fought back and forth over whether Al Gore got robbed of a presidential election, I wasn't thinking about Gore.

Oh, I wanted the fight to be fair. I wanted all the votes counted until the cows came home because, after all, that's what an election is for. But my first thought was: Wouldn't it have been nice to have Bill back? Wouldn't that have been fun?

"...and I don't want a war that never happened to be used as an excuse for us not knowing." [A war that never hapened? What is this dufus talking about? Oh, in case the author missed it, we are living in the 'information age,' where more information in more variety can be had more easily than ever before. If the author does not know something it's her own fault.

I'll concede that we're both right. FDR was elected four times,1932,'36,'40,and '44. He served three full terms,dying shortly after the start of his fourth,in April of 1945.The 22nd Amendment wasn't ratified until 1951,so it was after FDR was elected four times and served three full terms,fair enough?

You could also logically say it was after he served one or two terms for that matter.....but you'd still be inaccurate.
