With no democRAT fielded in Virginias 11th District Congressional race, Tom Daviss only opponent is my father, Frank Creel, a true constitutional conservative! Please, if anyone is interested in helping my fathers campaign, visit his campaign website at:
http://frankcreel.org.
Right now, we have a handful of dedicated volunteers and were trying to raise enough money to purchase yard signs and bumper stickers. Thanks to all the FReepers who have already contributed to this campaign!

Man, I wish I had those sorts of choices here in Massachusetts...I hope Mr. Creel makes a good showing, at the very least.
Too many sheep will probably just willingingly be lead to the slaughter, however.

Man, I wish I had those sorts of choices here in MassachusettsSame here in Oregon. What we have is a Democrat (turned RINO in '96) and a full on socialist Rat to choose between.
ltlflwr,
Give your father my best. Unfortunately all my doantion type funds are tied up in fighting the damn Western eco-nazis at the moment.
Again, Good LUCK!!!!

I wish your father all the best. This could be a great opportunity. Strictly at a political level, you might want to attract some democrats. They might like the idea of ousting a Republican. And we like the idea of ousting a RINO.

You mean he is not a Republican? Then how can he be good? No Way!

The entire 11th is majority Rat and Rino. . . only in the southern and western ends of the 11th do you start to see real conservatives. Of course, the 10th isn't much better with Frank Wolf, Congressman-for-Life of the 10th. . .

While I support the idea of an upset, do not allow the opportunity to slip by if your father gathers a considerable percentage. Often this can be the lever to move a victor into more of a conservative camp.
Plan today for both a victory party and a concession party. Plan how to carry your message to the press. Show good faith but be prepaired. Even if defeated, your efforts could very well show fruit. A post election plan is just as important as a election fight itself.
Just a thought

Good luck to your father and I hope he can pull it off. It surely would send a strong message to the Pubbie branch of the Incumbent Party.

Best of luck to the Republican in the race. Reading the title, I couldn't help but smile, though. It reminded me of the gag bumper-sticker for use during our quadrennial presidential elections:
Why settle for the lesser evil? CTHULHU FOR PRESIDENT
To: ltlflwr
Very best of luck to you and your cohorts.
As an aside, can any freeper from a big college city (our university has a population of 40,000)tell me if out-of-state students are allowed to vote in local/state elections?
Our students can and this is a major reason we have the likes of Kohl, Feingold and Baldwin in office in Wisconsin.
Personally, I feel students should vote absentee in their home state.

Personally, I feel students should vote absentee in their home state. Some of them probably do that, too.
