SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Attacking his country may give Iraqi leader Saddam Hussein the reason he needs to use weapons of mass destruction against the United States and its allies, former President Bill Clinton said Friday.
Clinton said the current administration should move cautiously regarding Iraq and urged President Bush to listen to Congress and the American public.

Loser says ?? The things he says in this article are things that are already being done - public debate and discussing with Congress. I believe that he is, like most of the Congressmen who are vociferous about a "new" authorization, simply jealous that they won't be able to take credit for the resulting overwhelming victory that an attack on Iraq would produce.

I went to the animal fair,
The Birds and the Beasts were there.
The big baboon, by the light of the moon,
Was combing his auburn hair.
The monkey, he got drunk,
And sat on the elephant's trunk.
The elephant sneezed and fell on his knees,
And what became of the monk, the monk?

Looking at it from the outside, it seems to me we have maximum incentive now for him not to use these weapons and not to give them to anybody. Because he knows all of America is ready to go after him, and would if he did that," Clinton said... And how long will this "maximumi incentive" last? How long will "America be ready to go after him"?? Not long. Strike now.
"If he knew for sure we were coming, he might have maximum incentive to use them and to give them to other people," Clinton said.
So we strike now.

...urged President Bush to listen to Congress and the American public. It should be the other way around...
To: What Is Ain't
Clinton Administration appeased bin Laden for 8 years...and look what that got us--Somalia, WTC(1), African Embassies, probably OKC/Murrah, USS Cole, WTC(2)/Pentagon/Flight93. Appeasing Saddam will have a similar result.

Unless there is some sign that GW is really the second coming I- like most Americans will continue to "read his lips" --
If I recall he works for me - I don't work for him (or any President for that matter).
So he can punch his time card and let me know what he plans to do every day!!!

"Attacking his country may give Iraqi leader Saddam Hussein the reason he needs to use weapons of mass destruction against the United States and its allies, former President Bill Clinton said Friday."Well looky here... Now, all of a sudden, we have Bill Clinton worried about Saddam having weapons of mass destruction! Go Figure.... Let's see...... Ole ye of Worthlessness, Why were you not worried about Iraq and WMD when you were the CIC? Was it because of your frequent trips to the Oval Office sink? or was it that you were selling our nuclear treasures to Iraq as well as Red China?
My guess is that you were not concerned about little things like our enemies developing WMD because you were too busy looking for mud for your turtle instead of doing your job. And once you were exposed for the sexual preditor your are, you were too busy manipulating the Dept of Justice in order to hide your unsavory liasons?
Rest assured Mr. Clinton... You might be able to spin your legacy for a while longer, But your day in the Sun is coming soon, and it's going to be a scorcher. History will be no friend to you as it records you as the most corrupt President this country has ever had to endure. My advice for the man from Hope is to keep his piehole shut and try to behave in a way you never have before..... Dignified

I think you accidentally posted to the wrong thread. This one is about a disgraced ex-president recklessly meddling in the foreign affairs of our nation in a time of war.

Measured, Thoughtful, Insightful remarks? Gees, don't give him any idea's, for if he implemented your idea's he may become credable some day!
