Could that perhaps be "Cooke" county?
The big question is, what do we do about his seat ? He's got a Democrat running against him in November and that guy could win it even in that heavily GOP area by default, thereby possibly costing us the 50th seat we need to take back the House for only the 2nd time in 130 years. UGH !
Somethin' he's going to get to be quite familiar with in the big house.

What's with that state?
No, this is a federal case. This walking pos is going to be heading off to the Memphis Federal Corrections Institute for some serious sphincter widening.

Driver's license law easing for aliens
By MONICA WHITAKER
Staff Writer
Legal and illegal immigrants should be able to get a Tennessee driver's license, even if they cannot produce a Social Security number, a majority of state lawmakers agreed yesterday.
Despite objections, primarily from Republican senators, bills passed in the House and Senate enabling driver's license testing stations to accept other forms of identification when someone applies for a license.
The expanded identification options include Immigration and Naturalization Service documents, resident alien cards and military papers issued by a foreign country.
Sen. Curtis S. Person Jr., R-Memphis, suggested an amendment that would require the driver's license applicant to be in this country legally, but the bill's sponsor refused. Senators approved the measure 19-10. The House approved it 69-21, with six members present but not voting.
It now goes to the governor for his signature.
