Rush is the absolute best in the business, hands down. If you have any doubt about that, you should listen to him in a car as you drive across the prairies of Iowa and the Dakotas in the springtime. There isn't a more perfect setting for listening to anyone on the radio.
Hannity is the most overrated host in the business. I met him once, and he was a nice enough guy, but he didn't seem terribly bright.
Michael Savage personifies everything that is wrong with talk radio -- he latched onto the "conservative wave" that was started by Rush Limbaugh, and carried it way too far. His shows are nothing more than strings of disconnected thoughts that don't even sound sincere half the time.
But I do give him credit for one thing -- he's come up with some memorable lines . . .
"Does anyone out there care about what I am saying? Or are you all just walking around with your hats on sideways?"
I LOVE Michael Savage. I didn't like him when I first listened to him but I've given it another chance and I LOVE him. He keeps me fired up and angry and pissed off. I live in the Bay Area and all of that is necessary to keep going. I really think that it depends on where you live. Here our lives depend on people like Michael Savage because of all the total "crap" that is out there day after day after day in the "media".
I like it when he tells the liberal idiots who call in to, "go gargle with Rogaine and grow hair on your tongue."
LOL. Savage goes over the top sometimes but he is very good when he is good.
