You really are clueless!
And I thought it was all an act.
I've already seen your apology for the "punk" thing, so I'm not going to react to that.
All of those Muslim groups are in it together whether you believe it or not.
You are PROBABLY right,AS FAR AS YOU GO. The problem is that you don't go far enough. Not ALL "Palestinians" are Muslims. This is especially true of those who were born in and live in this country. A LOT of them are Christians, and some are probably not followers of any religion.
As for the born here christian thing, while I realize that and even know some people like that I would say that those I know do not identify with and are not members of "arab-amercian" organizations because they find them to be hotbeds for muslim fundraisers.
And in their words it's very unpleasant to encounter arab-american muslims and have them ridicule them for being christian and ignoring their "true" faith.
Really? Does he have a right to be married to his Jewish wife? How about play golf at the same country club as Jews? While we're at it,are there any other groups of people who don't have the right to share a STAGE with a Jew?
And, to use your methods:
Actually, the audience has expressed themselves very clearly regarding what they think of the PALLY already -
HorseHillary! HOW could they have expressed themselves, when Mason made sure they wouldn't get to see or hear him?
numerous posts here have confirmed that.
Right. FR's "Israel Uber Alles" posters who have never in the known history of the universe EVER found ANY Jew at fault for ANYTHING are on here outraged that a Jew should have to share a stage with a suspected Arab, and we're supposed to act like their are unbiased. These people kinda put into focus the lies about how the Jews in Israel are willing to live in peace with their Palestinian brothers, when they are here foaming at the mouth about a Jew even having to share a bleeping STAGE with someone of Palestinian descent in Chicago!
If you want to villify his audience for not liking outspoken Palestinian comedians/activists,
Since they never had the opportunity to even hear him,it's hard to villify them for MAYBE not approving of his act. Or are you going to pretend that only the FR rabid Zionists are the only ones who had planned to go to that club that night?
that's fine
Thanks,that's asful white of you!
(you'll just appear stupid).
I'm thinking you may be a authority on this.
Once again, I will draw the analogy - you are pretty much defending the right of a clansman to speak at a NAACP rally.
There ain't enough ink in the world to draw THAT into a analogy. Did the Klansman have a CONTRACT to speak to a NAACP rally? Did they HIRE him to speak? Even this is putting aside the FACT that there is no comparison between a public appearance where tickets are sold to the general public (a comedy gig at a nightclub) and a private rally where tickets are sold to a invitation-only crowd (NAACP). Or is it that you somehow don't understand the difference between a rented hall for a private political event, and a bar open to the general public and a public appearance?
The problem with this is that it is at least the third version of a explanation Jackie has given. At least two versions MUST be lies. It seems clear to me it never occured to him there would be any kickback to him doing this. Just look at all the FR posters who are defending him for refusing to share a stage with a "Pally". Who knows how upset they would be if had had been forced to drink from the same water fountain?
Well, there's no danger of ME argueing that point with a world-wide authority on that subject like YOU.
BS.
Really? Why not tell us the ethnic origins of the so-called Palestinians and the Jews, then? This shouldn't be a problem, right?
Do you think some Jews organised a call-in campaign to intimidate the club? Do you think they would hesitate to intimidate Jackie himself, since he is touring the country right now with his prematurely closed Broadway show?
Could that explain the flurry of contradictatory reasons Jackie's group has come up with to explain it?
Boy,you got THAT right! He was even on the "Toady Show" doing parts of his standup act this morning. Mason may have been trying to hurt him,but ended up doing him the biggest favor he ever got. I don't think it's going to do him any good in the long run, though. He came across as nasty as Mason did.
Correct. As I said in one of my first posts on this yesterday; this is an impossible situation for Jackie Mason, but that is not to say that it is not amusing to see some people hoisted on their own petard.
And this guy wasn't denied the right to work, he was denied the right to work THAT NIGHT. Oh the injustice! The guy is getting the publicity of his career right now, which is better than some gig at a comedy club.
Really? Does he have a right to be married to his Jewish wife? How about play golf at the same country club as Jews? While we're at it,are there any other groups of people who don't have the right to share a STAGE with a Jew?
Unfortunately, your questions don't even attempt to refute my statement. But I'll answer your last question: no one has a right to a stage in a night club. Got that? YOU ARE NOT CONSTITUTIONALLY GUARANTEED STAGE TIME AT THE COMEDY CLUB OF YOUR CHOICE. MASON IS NOT UNDER OBLIGATION TO HAVE THIS GUY TELL JOKES TO AN AUDIENCE THAT, IN ALL LIKELYHOOD, CAME TO SEE HIM, NOT THE OPENER. You keep mentioning some "contract". Obviously there was none, or this guy could sue. He was simply "booked" and then cancelled, which happens so often in entertainment it's expected.
But, this arguement is growing pointless. Based on some of your last statements regarding rabid Zionists, etc, I think it would be helpful if you talked about what you are really angry about. Who honestly cares about one comedian no one ever heard of until now? Please, Pete, let it out.
Holy COW you got me laughing. Ofcourse you are under the assumption Jackie booked this guy knowing he was an active politically Pally. No WAY the club or some dumbass agent is responsible, which seems most plausable? It's all one biiiiiiiiig conspiracy, right? Laughable.
I like this site for a lot of reasons, but the said double standard is so amazing here, it's disturbing on many levels....
ROFLMAO! That is at least Mason Excuse Version 1.7. It started out that his manager had the guy cancelled because Mason didn't want to share a bill with a Palestinian, and has now evolved into "customers calling to complain he was on the bill." Right. I suppose you still believe in the tooth fairy, too? I ain't heard so much spinning since Bubbette! ran for the Senate.
No. The night club said it was a few calls.
You're serious aren't you?
Think about it for a minute, if all it took was a few calls how would any Palestinian-American (or Jewish-American for that matter) keep a booking.
