Local news is saying.."very series" high rise fire in downtown chicago...parts of Michigan avenue have been closed.

local fox news said the smoke was so thick you couldn't see the handcock building...getting conlficting reports of if it is a high rise building..Wgn-tv said they will have more after the break the are getting people to the scence..turn it there now if you have cable

thanks, I'm in DC but doing business with people in Chicago (if you can lawyers "people") today, so probably won't be on my cable. I'll try national cable here.

Nevermind..the newsreporters used the term "high rise" both on local fox and wgn-tv on several occasions..turns out it was a 4-5 story building..no inhuries..fire is out now..MOD move this out of breaking news

They broke into their normal news saying "a very series high rise fire is occuring....we see people running out of buildings"(local fox) I kid you not
Then they said it may just be people evactuating the building next to the "high rise Fire"..
Then I turned it to Wgn-tv and they said "a very series high rise fire is occruing downtown"
well like I said it was a 4-5 story building...
