FBI to Renew Anthrax Search in Fla.
The Associated Press Monday, August 26, 2002; 8:19 AM
BOCA RATON, Fla. The FBI wants to take another look at an anthrax-infested building owned by tabloid publisher American Media Inc., where an employee was fatally infected last fall.
It would be the first search of the building since November, FBI spokeswoman Judy Orihuela said Sunday. She declined to comment further, pending an FBI news conference Monday to announce additional details.

Good point. Thanks for the heads up.

Of course he (an cronies) did it, and that's been clear ever since the story about the "spider bite" surfaced...and the letters look like they were written by an ESL (English as a second language) person, and the first victim was not only where they lived, but was husband to the person who rented them their apartment.
"Bumbling idiots" sums it up for me.

The Great Satan has a theory that seems to me to make sense: Saddam used Al Qaeda to deliver anthrax as a threat, and the U.S. government refuses to admit publicly that it has been intimidated out of acting against Iraq.I'll buy into the first part of his theory; but, I beg do differ on the latter. Intimidate George W. Bush, Donald Rumsfeld? I don't think so. I'm thinking that we've had nearly a decade of systematic military depletion, we are currenty fighting in a war in Afghanistan, and we're sitting tight until we are prepared to engage and defeat Iraq.

FBI....Feh!
I am still waiting for them to find that dumb-ass hillbilly in Andrews, North Carolina. After all, they were camped out there for two years, took over the town, got every girl pregnant, drank all the liquor, and upgraded their phone system so they could tap every call in the whole town. Not to mention all those million dollar bloodhounds that jumped off a cliff to their deaths. The FBI couldn't find who hired Craig Livingstone! I doubt they can solve anything without making the story up.

My guess is the gov made the Iraq link to the anthrax a long time ago, but didn't want to tip its hand until they were ready to act. Keep him guessing and off balance, IMHO.Spot on, my friend.

Bingo.

If the FBI managed to track down Eric Rudolph, the case would have to go to trial, and that would mean the whole government case would unravel, if Rudolph is another fall guy, Richard Jewell Number Two.
Did you notice that the bombs at the Olympic Village in Atlanta were the same as the bomb that went off at Hebrew University in Jerusalem, a couple of weeks ago (nail bombs in backpacks)? And it's not hard to imagine why Islamists would mount terror attacks on the Olympic Games in the U.S. That's when TWA 800 happened, remember?

They why can't they just keep their yaps shut, and deal with the "Hatfills" (persons of interest) on the down-low.
Putting on the show is inexcusable.

And at least two Anthrax experts from Johns Hopkins agree that it was an Anthrax infection....

Wow, I think it
is significant. Perhaps the alleged fascination with Hatfill has been a way of misdirecting the media away from the real suspect(s)?
Thanks for the heads up.

Great story. Thanks for the link. Part one was extremely interesting too.

I have an extremely hard time believing that either GW or Rummy is in any way "intimidated" by this. Heck, they weren't "intomidated" by the WTC and Pentagon being bombed with airliners...they were PI$$ED, but not intimidated.

I caught a glimpse of the operation on a TV monitor this morning. It looked like a scene out of Repo Man, with all the people moving slowly in Hazmat suits. Either the Hazmat suits are overkill, or the people that work in the building were lied to for nearly a year. Neither choice leaves me with a lot of confidence.

Keep him guessing and off balance, IMHO.Never mind the elaborate conspiracy theories. Brace yourselves folks, the FBI might be just as dumb and reckless as they appear to be.
point of information - William C. Patrick was not brought into the investigation by the FBI early on because he was considered a "person of interest". He was later brought in as an expert after he passed a polygraph. One indication at least that the FBI took seriously its domestic terrorist theory.
