The gist of the article is a that a married woman with four children sought spiritual guidance from a priest who used his position to carry on an affair, lying to her husband the whole time. Ultimately, he got her pregnant, and left Virginia for Atlanta with her and teh four children, and married her. The Diocese, to its disgrace, closed ranks to protect itself from legal liability, with no concern or compassion for what this priest did to a family. As a Catholic who loves the Church, this article demonstrates why leadership change is necessary. And teh judge who decided the custody case is a crackpot.
