Very consistent with last two polls for Baltimore Sun (mid Jul) and WJLA (early Aug).

Pretty good news. Although it is a long way to November. Never underestimate the Dems ability to rig the ballot box.

I am beginning to feel like I've entered the Twilight Zone, though. Virginia elects a liberal Democrat and Maryland very well could elect a Repub governor. Something's just not right with this picture. :)

Kennedy? Kennedy? Kennedy

Silly me, I thought her last name was Townsend

And I also assumed that, being a truly modern woman, she would never rely on her father's last name to get her into a higher office.

YOU DA MAN COOP!

Gov. races in socialist states arent' really impt., except for the fact that a Kennedy may lose. What is impt. is Gov. races in "toss-up" states, b/c in teh Prez elections it usually helps to have the Gov's political machine at your disposal, though from 2004 in PA, MI, WI, and almost FL, that wasn't true.

the Dems ability to rig the ballot box.

They're warming up the Baltimore City corpses by the thousands, even as we speak. By November, the undead will trudge off to the polls, filled with an overwhelming love for Kooky Katie.

Maybe they are not important to you, but I for one live in this socialist hole that they call Maryland and I want to see a Republican Governor.

I am having this vision of Michael Jackson's Thiller video - all those creatures heading off to the polls... Yikes!

Please don't get me started on Kooky Katie. I was having an ok day so far.....

Gubernatorial races are important always. Governors appoint replacements to the Senate and they sign redistricting plans.

If we could just bulldoze the middle third of the Maryland it would be a great place. It has the beach, bay, farmland, mountains, everything you could want in a little state, except Democrat Liberals.

God Bless You. I hope it works out for you, but with a socialistic legislature I doubt MD will turn into a conservative state no matter who is governor. It's a lot like MA, the Republican governor either is, or has to act like, a RINO. Any state that elects Barbara Mikulski to the Senate deserves every bad thing that happens to it.
