WASHINGTON -- The Pentagon says search teams have found the remains of seven American soldiers in North Korea.

The soldiers have been classified as missing in action. The remains are being flown on a U.S. Air Force plane to Japan. They'll go to the military's central identification lab in Hawaii after that.

More than 8,100 U.S. soldiers remain unaccounted for from the 1950-1953 Korean War.

U.S. search teams have recovered 159 sets of remains in North Korea since 1996. Only 13 have been positively identified.

This is for anyone interested in the Korean War, and for anyone who has, or knows someone who has, relatives still classified as MIA from the Korean War.

The NK's regularly sell "remains" from the war when they need something from us.

As I have said before. This is a disgrace that almost 50 years have passed and our government has failed to account for the over 8,000 MIA's from the Korean War. God bless them all and their families. Semper Fi

I offer a prayer that the remains will be identified and the information will bring peace to their survivors.

"Thus saith the Lord, Refrain thy voice from weeping, and thine eyes from tears: for thy work shall be rewarded, saith the Lord; for they shall come again from the land of the enemy.

And there is hope in thine end, saith the Lord, that thy children shall come again to their own border." Jeremiah 31: 16-17 (KJV)

My wife's uncle is one of the MIA from the war. His body is in NK somewhere.
