Phone call from Lexus VP ^

Freeping works! I just got off the phone with the VP of Marketing for Lexus...Last week I had sent the following email to the COO of Toyota, their parent company.
Did you know your Lexus division is funding pedophilia, prevision and filth by advertising on the left-wing site Salon? There are countless examples. Check out http://www.salon.com/mwt/feature/2002/07/22/coming_of_age/index.html?x As a proud Lexus owner, I'm ashamed that Toyota would be supporting this garbage. Is this the image you want your company to have?
Name Address & phone
The VP called me today in response! According to him, Lexus is pulling their ads (or not renewing their contract). In part it was because of my email, he said!
Lexus over the years has been one of the largest advertisers at Salon. In a small way I feel I and the others great Freepers here, have helped defund the left.
At the risk of beating a dead horse...here is the contact info for Neiman Marcus one of Salon's newest advertisers:
http://www.neimanmarcus.com/store/service/contactus.jhtml
Check it out, send 'em an email or call 'em!
(Note; it got a little lonley out there. When the pedophilia article was first published on Salon, I posted excerpts here. It was pulled as being a bit much for FreeRepublic. I then emailed it to Newsmax, Drudge, Weekely Standard, Andrew Sullivan (hey he should have published it) and a bunch of other sites. Nothing! Not a lot of people pinged my messages, in fact a number of people asked to be taken off my ping list! I felt like I was tilting at a windmill. But today it was all worth it!)

Congratulations!
You find out whom the real conservatives are when the heat goes on and some say "Take Me off of your Email List"!
I look at that as good news. Now I/you really know where these phonies stand when they respond in that manner.
I remember a couple of local business guys didn't want to be on my email list when we were fighting to keep Goron from stealing the presidency.
One since then has gone broke and the other guy is barely hanging on. Both commented about a year later that they hadn't seen nor heard from me (reality they haven't gotten any business from me lately). I looked both in the eyes and said when you told me that you were not interested in keeping our country from becoming a Banana Republic after the presidential election. You lost me as a customer, and we were never really friends, nor do I want to be your friend or a customer.
When millions of conservatives start using our buying power as a tool, we will change the political landscape dramatically.

I clicked on the link, and halfway through the second page, puked. NO company can defend that filth. The Admin Monitor here pulled it when I first posted it and I can't blam him/her!
Please take a moment to tell Neiman Marcus.

At any rate, I went to the URL you cited, and the piece of filth was sponsored by Powell's bookstore. Reloading the page replaced that ad with one from Microsoft. Again, and I saw Absolut vodka. Again, Visa card. The ads cycle and not all ads run in every section. I urge people NOT to click on them however as that generates click-thrus (or ad traffic) and may generate revenue for Salon.
Of course if you do click on em and find contact information post it. Here are contacts two other recent ads.

Good work. Of course, the fact that Salon is on a death spiral probably didn't hurt.
