"He was charged with possessing missiles that were not registered to him in the National Firearms Registration and Transfer Record." I hate it when I forget to register my missles.

    Bellicosity,
I am not trying to steal the thread. I just thought that this had a lot more supporting facts in it and deserved to be posted.

"geeze what is wrong with men not registering the household missiles?" It's a guy thing, fer sure.

The complaint said agents discovered the missiles in 49 explosives crates, with each crate containing 48 missiles and each missile worth $23,040. For a total of 2,352 missiles, total value is $54 million. I bet he could have got em cheaper

HEAT is a defense contractor and speciality training development company that sells "surgical breaching explosives," used usually in SWAT scenarios, among other things. The products require training for safe use, the company says. Something tells me that the BATF jumped the gun again.

Wasn't there an anonymous tip about licesing?
Which is alluded to here: investigating a Technical Assistance Agreement license tied to HEAT's permit to train U.S. allies
Is there more here than we are being told? My opinion says "Lots more."
To: cajungirl; TonyBanks
WOW! You've got missiles? I want some too. I don't suppose COSTCO sells them in the shelves under their cigarette displays.
To: Salvation
of course there is "more".Like some sort of Iraque or Iran connection, now is the time to tell,we are listening.
To: Salvation
A WHOLE lots more! I doubt there was any intentional concealment of the missiles, just the BATF running around with an erection looking to screw somebody. (their standard operating procedure)
