Al Gore is having a hard enough time convincing Democratic Party leaders that he deserves another shot at the presidency in 2004. But now he may be having trouble where it really counts: with his moneymen. The latest setback comes from Jonathan Tisch, the New York City hotelier who has generously backed Gore causes since 1988, giving the Democratic Party $325,000 during Gore's 2000 presidential bid. Sources tell Time that Tisch recently informed Gore he's uncommitted for 2004. That might not sound like a rebuff, but considering Tisch's previously unwavering support for Gore, Democratic insiders were stunned.
Tisch was just one of several Gore loyalists missing from Gore's June "donor retreat" in Memphis, Tenn. Also awol were all but a few Democratic patrons from the key campaign-money centers of Hollywood and New York City. Now, with Tisch's refusal to commit to Gore, the former Veep may have more trouble than he ever imagined raising the $30 million-plus he will need to compete against a crowdedand to date well-financedfield of candidates in the Democratic primaries.
Spokesmen for Gore and Tisch refused to discuss private talks between the two. Democratic elders say Gore still has time to catch up in the race for dollars. For now, though, it seems far from his mind. In New York City recently, Gore had lunch at Tisch's Regency Hotel. His old friend was there toodining with someone else.

Just another indication that Bill and Hillary have decided Hillary must start the run for 2004 now.

Hey Al! If McCauliffe can do it - you can too! After all, you're the Einstein of the party. Invest in Global Crossing - Terry made $18 million off $100,000. It should be a great buy. And as far as anybody knows, it's doing OK.
After all, if Global Crossing were in trouble, we would hear all about it on the front pages, wouldn't we? Like we heard all about Enron and Worldcom when the pressRats thought they could nail Republicans for them.

Just another indication that Bill and Hillary have decided Hillary must start the run for 2004 now. No way. Hillary won't run against Bush, because she knows she would lose big-time. She'll run for re-election in 2006, then run for President in 2008.

Also, haven't the Demons from Dogpatch been gobbling up tons of donations for Bubba's Monument to Himself?

AlBore is the priggish hall-monitor who thinks he can run for Class President. He just doesn't realize what a joke he is considered.

She'll run for re-election in 2006, then run for President in 2008. I think you are right on. In fact, I would guess that due to her party affiliation and anatomy she has a better than even chance of becoming the Comander and Chief of all of our Armed Forces. Think about that for a while before you go to sleep tonight. Hillary Clinton, Commander and Chief. Scary, huh?

No way? Wrong!!!!!! She is running in EVERYWAY.
Funny how people always think the candidates are running for the Presidential nomination exclusively. If Hillary seeks the presidential nomination in 2004 she will also be running for the Vice Presidential slot. In fact the VEEP slot is likely to be her real objective. She has to try to kill 2 birds with 1 stone. Lossing as the VP candidate doesn't tarnish her viability as the Presidential candidate in 2008, it enhances it and it eliminates the possibility of someone besides Hillary from becoming the front runner for the Democratic Party nomination in 2008.

Maybe Mr. Tisch had second thoughts about helping to elect a man who is clearly suffering a bad case of arrested development. He stopped maturing emotionally, at about thirteen years old. He views the world through adolescent eyes...and like most thirteen year olds, he still hasn't figured out who he is yet. Worse than that...I don't think he has touched base with reality in a loooooong time.
His total lack of a sense of humor...plus the fact that he feels the need to take four or five baths a day...is very telling. I wouldn't support him if he were a Reagan republican! I don't think he's evil, but he ain't playing with a full deck.

Would you give $$ to this dope?
Notice the little girl's expression.
She's never seen a tree like this one.

No, this is proof of hypocracy. The are willing to throw more of our money to "fix" their broken big government ideas. BUT when it comes to their own money, more money does not fix their problem.
Who runs the democratic party back rooms anyways?
To: Paul Atreides
Who would make the better candidate, algore or Lieberman?
From the Dems viewpoint? From the conservative viewpoint?
