A freeper posted a personal account of this killing just yesterday. The poster said the killer was a freeper, but I don't recall his screen name. It was not the one mentioned in this article.

Right. That screen name is for another web site.

The poster said the killer was a freeper Anybody can get on here....but it doesn't make them a Freeper. The liberal media WILL try and 'make something' of the political views of this cop-killer, however.

You certainly seem to have the attitude of a freeper. Are you ?

The liberal media WILL try and 'make something' of the political views of this cop-killer, however. They already are. From the first paragraph:
when the man whipped out a high-powered Czechoslovakian military weapon
Guess what the caliber of that high-powered weapon was? .32 caliber. The media is already taking this sad, utterly insane incident and pushing it as a lone gun nut story, the facts be damned...

Link to the "High-Powered" weapon.

It is TRUELY sad when anyone is killed in the Line of Duty. However the Media does not have to distort the facts.
"Taylor, who also fired back, was hit and dropped to the gravel. His bulletproof vest didnt save him."
His Bulletproof Vest didn't save him because he was either shot in the head or a vital area not covered by the Vest!

He had only posted here about 5 times in two years. I did a search on his name yesterday.

Ah, no. With some ammo, a CZ-52 (which is what the pistol seems to have been)delivers a 100 grain fmj at about 1600fps, which will penetrate a kevlar vest. It is a question of velocity and sectional density and hardness.

Thanks. I did not recognize his name, but the person who spoke of him was a recognizable poster; BettyBoop. That is a name that is pretty hard to miss.

Many of the FR cop-haters have left over the last year because they feel their freedoms are being trampled by the moderators. You can find them on other sites now.

The liberal media WILL try and 'make something' of the political views of this cop-killer, however. I detest the liberal media as much as anyone, but in this case, the killer's political views are relevant. He was obviously an extremist and a nutjob, and because of his policital views he shot a police officer in the back.

He shot the policeman because he was mentally-ill.

"Many of the FR cop-haters have left over the last year..."
Regrettably, there are haters of all stripes remaining. In addition to some truly nice people, it seems to me that there is always an undercurrent of hatred at work here.

but in this case, the killer's political views are relevant Of course, but watch how it gets twisted with suggestions to conservative group ties.

Tell me,Why do you think the ATF got involved and why did they seize his computer as reported on another thread. The media are all reporting this was over a speeding ticket yet the ATF searches his home? No,I will still stand by my original post from yesterday, this is over something more than a speeding ticket.

Guess what the caliber of that high-powered weapon was? .32 caliber. That's something you made up. The stories never mention a .32.

I'm not sure if it is hatred or a real good case of knuckledragitis. Some people have a core set of beliefs and it is just real hard for them to let go of them when exposed to new ideas. They respond with anger out of a sense of insecurity. The new idea threatens them. parsy.
