I have a feeling this is a pretty regular occurance at ports around the U.S.

I had that happen to me once in Miami, too... I don't know what made my package suspicious, but apparently it was...

This ship had apparently not submitted all the necessary info before coming into port 24 hours before docking. It is suspected to be from a Middle Eastern country. The cargo that is suspect is the large shipping containers.

Wouldn't it be nice if they popped open a crate full of Al Qaeda terrorists, who were dumb enough to open fire in the face of, oh, 35-40 automatic weapons? [dreamy sigh]

Yeah, does it look like powdered suger? Because if it looks like powdered suger, it's not a bomb. But don't get it near your nose, or you'll lose your job.

Even bet that once they determine the "suspicious package" to be harmless, they blow it up anyway.

[dreamy sigh]The Coast Guard spokesman said, "Nah, there's nothing to report here, we just found a load of hamburger that was starting to spoil so we threw it in the ocean for the fish.
