Well, Bowana, all of my grandkids are under 3 years old, all 5 of them. They are totally dependent on their Moms and Dads and could not survive without them. YES, but they are SEPERATE INDIVIDUALS.

I think your point of view is that you are against involuntary separation of a viable fetus from a physological disturbed "mother" who wishes an early final exit for same. Does that about sum it up?

Bowana, you seem to be using circular logic.
You argue that the unborn child is not an individual because he/she cannot survive without the mother.
You agree the 5 grandkids cannot survive without their mother, yet you say they are separate individuals.

My youngest son was born at home. Instead of cutting the umbilical cord right away, my midwife waited until the placenta came out. He was still a person, but still completely attached to me.
