Bill and Hillary Clinton are once again heading for the Finger Lakes.

According to a report in Sunday's Syracuse Post Standard, the Clintons are planning another Finger Lakes vacation for later this month.

Hillary Clinton told reporters in Washington DC last week she plans to attend the New York State Fair in Syracuse and spend time in the Finger Lakes.

The Clintons stayed a week in August 1999 on Skaneateles Lake and last year spent two-nights in Geneva as guests at Hobart and William Smith Colleges.

If I were a savvy reporter, I would check out the local Court House and see what divorce papers are filed that week! It seems a good place for NY state residents to file without hoards of press catching wind of it!

Incredible! Skaneatles is right near my hometown. The last time this crew came through, they stayed rent free, tied up traffic everywhere, and went into the choice restaurants in town like The Old Stone Mill and ordered the left and right sides of the menu--then left without paying or even leaving a tip!

But, there was one very popular restaurant that refused to let these cretins in the door---Doug's Fish Fry. A great place. Doug--the owner really pi$$ed off Hillary! by telling them they were not welcomed.

One of the Clinton's slavish reporters wrote this piece of junk crying in their beer about it:--excerpt:

"When the Clinton trip was announced, local merchant Doug Clark seized the moment to announce "If Bill and Hillary came to Doug's Fish Fry, I would refuse them service because they are intoxicated with power. And I could claim they appear to be intoxicated -- I have a beer license. I just don't want them in my restaurant." This yokel actually thought he was being clever. Of course he had some support, but nearly everyone I spoke with made the same point -- if the president of the United States wants to walk into your greasy fish fry, kiss his hem and cook the fish.

And I wanted to take my daughter to the fair!! Lets see when they are, and make sure we go another day!! I think they went last year on the last day, since we went thru Syracuse heading to RT 81S. Talk about traffic!! Luckily we got thru it with no problems!!
