Ann Coulter, who's blockbuster book "Slander: Liberal Lies about the American Right" hit #1 on the NY Times non-fiction best-seller list, just said she "Loves Free Republic" when a Freeper called in to praise the popular Conservative author.

It was a real treat to write her way back - trying to get her to run for Congress. =) Congress? I think it's time we had a Republican president. Ann would be the first one since Reagan.
To: Capriole
Stop and think about it: as charming as she is, would most men really want to be on the receiving end of her rapid-fire logic and her ability to verbally eviscerate the opposition? Imagine the first fight.I guess she'll never be the one on the couch or out of the house...:-)
Incidentally, I'm single, but make only 38.5K compared to Heaven knows what for her. I don't call my resultant poor prospect as "being intimidated;" I call it being realistic. :-)
To: MadIvan
You're in luck; I heard she has a long-lost twin sister who happens to be a British subject (serf, slave, whatever).
If only, eh?

Was that the night you called Senator Barbara Buckethead on her "count all the votes" gambit?

I'm single, but make only 38.5K compared to Heaven knows what for her. I don't call my resultant poor prospect as "being intimidated;" I call it being realistic. :-)I think you're being realistic, too. ;-) Stress often crops up in a relationship when there is a gross disparity in the experiences and/or income levels of married people. It's not the money that's the issue, it's that the guy who is not a politician, columnist, commentator, and public personality as Ann is, cannot understand her life. They're not going to truly be in touch. It's the same with any two people, really, even if they aren't rich and famous--you do have to be able to understand each other's lives.

I felt so sorry for her when she was stuck with Donapeeeeww the other day. But she came out on top...as usual. Ms. Coulter, you have class.

Hi, MadIvan - Does Ann ever visit www.FreeBritannia.co.uk? Not so far as I know. Could be that she lurks, but I doubt it.
As for talking about her, well certainly in the context of the book. ;)
Regards, Ivan

You have a Republican President, we need her to make Tony Blair have nightmares and us Tories to have pleasant dreams. ;)

Ann, you know I love ya, which is why I believe you'll take this in the right spirit:
Put on about 10 pounds. You look like you summer at Auschwitz sometimes.
Other than that, you go girl.

Let her disagree on one of these issues and watch the wolves come out to eat her and then denounce her. I thought you were saying that she has already taken a liberal stand.
To: happytobealive
He said FR had too much infighting. It wasn't a big deal, though certain Freepers are trying to make it into one.
Go buy his book.

I wonder how she feels about animals.

ARe you pro-abortion?
To: happytobealive
Well...that's pretty rude. Just because she's single and no kids or not married means she's gay, a saint and will have an unsteady life?? There are many people like that....Rush, Drudge, etc.
I think that most people that have kids and try to work a (real)full-tiem job (with meat) are the ones that are going to have an unsteady life. You can't do both succesfully. I think that many latchkey kids are the ones in trouble (drugs and sex) and have little guidance.
I also think that some people who think that single people without kids are what you descibe in your #1, #2 or #3 are tired out, jealous and miserable.

If you are pro-NEA, Pro-abortion,pro-welfare, pro-taxes, pro-Kyoto and pro-gun control, how exactly does that mean you're conservative? The only position that even might be debatable is abortion. THe rest, are well, not conservative at all. They are liberal. If you are pro-all these things, I hope to God you are "eaten", but it won't be by "your own", cuz we ain't "your own".
