FDR campaigned as an ulta conservative.

I don't know about the "ultra" part but it is true, FDR campaigned against the activist economic innovations of Hoover.

Hint** Anyone who says Hoover was a do-nothing, let'em starve Republican is either lying through his teeth, pig-ignorant, or both.

It should be academic now, but Hoover's record speaks for itself, to anyone who wants to listen. he didn't do every thing right, but FDR did most things catastrophically wrong. Only the War bailed his worthless ass out.
