This is unbelievable to watch it unfold on TV since I watched it live from my roof top in Midtown Manhattan.

It reminds me of the Alan Jackson song "Where were you when the world stopped turning?." TV news shows were like the SNL spoofs-- shows about stupid topics-- and then they had to do a 180 when the attacks went down. You get whiplash.

The last time someone posted this link I think I spent 4 hours there.
A warning: There are some broadcasts that show the people jumping (and landing). I can't remember which ones, but I think they were the Spanish-speaking stations. Maybe BBC as well. It was chilling.

Have you been to this site lately? I've been trying to access some of the video clips and am unable. Don't know if it's just me (upgraded my media player last night though), or if they've removed the clips from the site for some reason.

This is outstanding. Thank you. Since I couldn't view any of this live, I've wanted to know how each network carried the events.
If you start at 9 a.m., the second plane hits within the first four minutes and it is interesting to note that, from CNN, ABC, NBC, CBS, FOX and BBC (will have to wait until later for the rest), only FOX described this immediately as an act of terrorists, not just by the anchorman but by the on-scene reporter. Amazingly, none of the others, save ABC, is even willing to suggest that the attacks were deliberate. Trailing the back, Bryant Gumbel was busy explaining how it looked like only one tower was hit but, in fairness, he was probably in a studio looking at monitors and likely had people yelling in his ear.
I'll be reviewing more of this. Too bad it's in either REALplayer or Quicktime, which both have very poor picture quality for my tastes.
