JERUSALEM (Reuters) - The militant Islamic group Hamas denied on Thursday it had deliberately targeted U.S. citizens in a deadly bomb blast at a cafeteria frequented by foreign students at Jerusalem's Hebrew University.
Four Americans and a French-American student were among seven killed when a bomb planted by Hamas blew up in the university cafeteria during the lunch hour rush on Wednesday.
More than 80 people were wounded in the attack.
"The fighter of Hamas did not ask the students about their identity cards and he can't do so. He does not know if they are Arab or Israelis. But we are not targeting at all American targets," Abdel Azziz al-Rantissi, a senior leader of the Palestinian group, told Reuters.
President Bush ( news - web sites) said on Thursday he was "furious" about the attack.
Rantissi said the attack was in revenge for Israel's assassination of a top Hamas commander in a missile strike at his Gaza City home last week in which 14 other Palestinians, including nine children, were also killed.
Are there any Hamas groups in the US? Where are those groups? Who are their supporters? Americans have now been the target of terrorists in Israel of the Palestinian type. Is Bush going to walk the walk and target those who commit terror attacks against Americans?

One of the things that was never discussed was the presence of American Special Forces troops with the IDF during the May invasion of the West Bank. The SF were looking for evidence of Al Qaeda. Do not be surprised if some of the team leaders for the Hamas start having accidents.

Yes, Hamas crossed a line today, and they know it. That's why they're backtracking furiously. Unfortunately, they decided to f%#k with the wrong people. We are not the Israelis. We have the capability to do things to those ass clowns that would make them wish we were the Israelis. But we won't do anything overt. It will all be dark lanternist kind of stuff.

Bingamundo! The real players in the U.S. Terror War are the spooks and black ops types. We have some extremely scary people on our payroll and they don't play nice at all. Needless to say, they don't exactly get a lot of press, except when they screw up, which is not too damned often. When these guys get an assignment, the result is usually an unfortunate and untimely fatal accident for the victim(s), or perhaps an untraceable heart attack or neurotoxic seizure (thallium, anyone?).
Be afraid, Hamas. Be very afraid. The Men In Black are coming for you, and boy are they pissed.
