You did an incredible, fantabulous job tonight!
Thanks!
BTW......did you see my post that YOUR first picture here, beat the television pictures.....by a good 5 minutes.
To: BJClinton
As usual with Drudge these days, better late than never. I guess he forgot the "new" part of news. He used to know what it was.

And so to bed......g'night, dear freeper friends who gathered together on this thread and remained till the end in concerted empathy with the miners.
God bless the miners, their families, the noble rescuers, the good governor and even the steadfast reporters on the scene.
And most of all, GOD BLESS AMERICA, THE LAND OF THE FREE AND THE HOME OF THE VERY, VERY BRAVE!

All the pics that don't have some type of tv station logo shown are pics that a Reuters pool photographer took.
Technology is such that those pics can be quickly uploaded onsite to the net.
The tv pool coverage didn't begin until the 3rd man was being lifted.
You would have thought that those cable stations would have at least shown the wire photos while waiting for the taped pool video to come in or have a live feed in place.

To you and everyone else who thanked me, you're very welcome........it was entirely my pleasure.

Not to make a peripheral point here, but, why not. Notice it was all strong, husky men saving the miners, using their muscles and brains to pull up those men out of the bowels of the earth, and operating all of the drills and other heavy machinery. Did anyone see any women's lib types out there busting their butts? Wonder when the feminazi's will finally discover that women have many most admirable traits, but we are not men, never will be, and men do best what men do, and women do best what women do.

This could be bigger than we can imagine right now. I hope it inspires the nation. Amen, my friend.

Gosh, after listening to him I feel as exhausted as the those guys looked. Maybe already covered a gazillion times here, but...well, "It is the same as when we were in Tora Bora. We can all feel...they can all feel proud."

You have chosen the wrong thread.
Even if there is a "right" thread for your post. I don't think advertiseing is allowed here...
and that's all your post was, advertising.

Especially after all the tragic stories of kidnapped and murdered little girls. To see the good folks of Somerset County Pennsylvania rally around the rescue effort is what makes this country so strong.
You know what seperates this great Nation from most of the others?....
We are at our best when times are at their worst.

Sorry I did'nt answer posts you made, but at my age (which is'nt any excuse} I can't listen, type and read at the same time. lol I just finished reading allposts I had not been able to read and checking out the pictures, thanks hole-in-one, they were great.
Take care, and Thank You Lord for the minors safe rescue.
To: flaglady47
I did see some women and other minorities involved in the rescue. The media took an unusual course in not beating us about the head and neck with the fact that they were there. My point is that in coming news items about the rescue, will they try to "make up" for it by trying to force a diversity spin on all phases of this.
To: strela
Whoraldo did mention that fact. For those who missed this one, the US Navy said they are going to keep the decompression chambers and dive medicine teams on site for the next 24 hours, in case they're needed.
