To: Snow Bunny
This is a photo of a flag composed of flowers. The seeds were planted by a commercial company in Lompoc, Ca.

The floral flag is 740' by 390' and conforms to proper proportions. The stars are 5 feet across and composed of white larkspur. Each stripe is 30 feet wide. It is estimated to contain 400,000 larkspur plants. It is viewed daily by pilots using Vandenburg Airforce Base.

That is the neatest picture. I always wanted to do something like that in my front yard, just on a smaller scale. LOL

(I think the 5 feet was a typo in the news report. The stars are closer to 24 feet across - each).
