Sorry, I don't buy swimming in the Meramec from Valley Park downstream anytime, much less early in the AM. Have you looked at that water closely.

That's what I meant when I was talking to Registered about the camel's nose under the tent.
They will find excuses to chip everyone for some reason. Kids for their own protection, soldiers for recovery purposes, criminals for tracking purposes, etc etc etc ad nauseum.

Finally however I do find it interesting that all these abductions are being reported on nationally all of a sudden. I certainly don't mind that they are reporting them I just find it odd that we go from reporting on one or two a year to reporting all of them all of a sudden. Danielle Van Dam was not the first missing child to end up dead so it can't be that that is why people care so much all of a sudden. That suggests an agenda like nothing else.
Maybe the "agenda" is the realization that if these cases get fast media attention, there is a chance the child in question may be saved, and that other children will not suffer the same fate from the hands of the perp.
In addition, some states are dragging their feet making sex offender data readily available to the public (like California).

I don't either. One other thing I learned from the last local station interview with the father. The father was taken to a scene somewhere near the river to identify some clothing that was found. It was found to be not related to this case.

I understand what you are saying...you cannot be too careful!
I sometimes think people don't realize how fast something like this can happen. It's 30 seconds that can't always be un-done.
:(
Prayers asking God to put a blanket of protection over all of our kids and to give parents that watchfull protection that all kids need.

OK, for those of us who really need to know, the St. Louis County Police just issued an APB for a 39 year old homeless man who lives under a bridge in the vicinity of the Williamsons. They also report that a picture of Cassandra was found near where he sleeps.

The grandpa is so shook up - of course - says they found little footprints down by the river.

That's bizarre about that APB - could it not have been the red haired guy? A picture of the little girl? Did you hear this on one of the news channels - or a police scanner?

I'm trying to figure out the coverage of the kidnapping of small children by sexual deviants and the media promotion of the Gay Agenda and normalization of Pedophilia at the same time. Good point. By publicizing child kidnappings, rapes, murders (like poor litte Samantha Runnion, God rest her soul), the liberal media is unwittingly stirring up every parent in the country to fight against child porn and other monstrosities supported by NAMBLA, ACLU, etc.

Regarding the Verichip/Digital Implants/Digital Angel, or whatever they're being called...Besides the child abduction angle, I believe another way they will force people to get them, is to keep track of medical records--especially through your kids. Because, if some satanic group of people elects to unleash the small pox virus, say, the CDC/Government may demand that everyone get the vaccine, and the only way that could be tracked is to have everyone's medical record coded into a chip which is then...well, you know the rest of the story.
For those who think this is tinfoil hat material, it's coming to a medical center near you.

They also report that a picture of Cassandra was found near where he sleeps. Thanks for the APB. How could a homeless man get a picture of Cassandra? A photo? A sketch he made? Wierd, strange development.

No doubt the raised awareness is the positive side of reporting these stories. The negative is that the more they are overreported and sensationalized, the more we will become immune to the actual tragedy of them. Constant reporting and sensationalizing also invites copycats. So it's really a mixed blessing.

Maybe I didn't explain myself very well. The other mom is on a portable phone waiting in her front yard, it is a straight shot, three doors from my home. She is able to see them with no obstructions from the time they leave our corner.(I still look out the window to make sure they're across ok) My kids are a little older too. (14 and 10) I don't allow my seven year old to go anywhere alone.

I wouldn't trust her judgement either. We live in a wooded area, all of us here seem to have enough sense to stay indoors when we hear a storm coming. I wouldn't dream of sending a child out in a storm on a scooter.
