It sounds like they weren't sure what this device was.
If they were suspicious of the device, I'm glad they checked it out. I think I would have laughed too after realizing what it was.

This woman is subjecting herself to ridicule by filing this lawsuit.

Hang on ... while the article doesn't specify that SHE used it as a sex toy, it does say that she claims three men employed by Delta "began laughing hysterically'' and offered "obnoxious and sexually harrasing comments.'' She was subjected to unwarranted embarassment -- I say she's got a good case.
