Since Tom Ridge and friends seem intent on raising the spectre of a terrorist attack every time there is any level of threat, how do we discern what is real and what is butt covering political expediency?

One report out of Israel last nite was that homicide bombers may also be diseased (hepititis, etc.), so in addition to spreading shrapnel, they are spreading fragments (bone and blood) to infect their victims, too.
