Wide-eyed teen-age boys...

Forty years ago the Old Howard Theater in Boston's Scollay Square was a rite of passage for wide-eyed teenage boys all over eastern Massachusetts, one of the last of the old burlesque houses that also had vaudville(sp?) acts.

All gone now, these many years, replaced by the Government Center, one of America's worst examples of Stalinist architechture.

A sad loss to teenage boys and the young at heart.
