NEED INFO SOURCE for California State legislators voting records

Golly, my first vanity. And before any smart-alecks jump in with "And we hope it's your last!", I hope it's my last. There. Beat ya to it. $;-)

I am looking for an information source, on the web preferably, that provides listings of how a given California State legislator has voted on various state bills.

I ask this on behalf of some NRA-member friends of mine still working behind enemy lines, where a candidate named Ducheny is running again, and she has the NRA's endorsement as a pro-gun Democrat. It's their recollection is that she was absent or abstained from most important votes when she was in the legislature, but they'd really like to check up on her voting record.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Try putting "Ducheny nra" in the google search engine. Good luck.

Go to the Assembly (or State Senate) website, it's all there. You can search for bills by number or Author.

At the Assembly site, click on "How to Comment on Bills"

I tried that, and similar methods, before posting this inquiry. No joy.

Thanks, Martin. It's a nice site, and looked very promising (I had this bookmarked from times past), but when you go to a candidate, they all say they don't have any voting information, when these buggers have been busier than termites eating through the Bill of Rights.

Thanks. I was aware of this website, but in addition to having to individually research each and every bill, you'd have to know what bills got voted on in the first place.

I'm looking for a table or matrix somewhere. I don't have days to invest in researching this sole issue.

Well, the PRK (that's People's Republik of Kalifornistan) isn't quite as bad as the PRC.

At least, not yet.

Yeah, I see what you mean.

OK, then how about the California Voter Foundation or the California State Assembly site?

Neither one is particularly great for what you're trying to do, but they're a start.
