Yeah sure this lawsuit is ok ... just like the one where the lady sued temple university hospital because an MRI scan of her head robbed her of her psychic powers. She won of course.

particularly the poor and children.

The poor can't afford $3.00 for a hamburger. ($6.00 with fries and drink). 50 cents for an apple is more like it. The cheapest foods are the heathiest. A head of luttuce for lunch is more filling than a hamburger, better for you and cheaper.

Thanks for the hearty laughs! This is hysterical! I love the excuses: "I was single...I couldn't cook very well..." So that means you should pork out every night on fast food? LOL!

The aim of the legal action is to force the fast food industry to "offer a larger variety to the consumers, including non-meat vegetarian, less grams of fat, and a reduction of size" of their meals, along with federal legislation that would require warning labels on fast food similar to those on tobacco products, Hirsch said.

I think your law office should have a warning label slapped on it, Mr Hirsch:

"Warning, the Contents Within are Hazardous to Your Personal Freedom"

Get lost, loser.

This guy's picture should be posted in any and every fast-food resturaunt coast to coast with a bold heading saying;

DO NOT SERVE THIS FAT LOP OF S#*T FOR ANY REASON OR FACE PROSECUTION!

Then when ole' lard-butt starts jonesin' for a double bacon cheeseburger, he gonna' find out he's out of luck. This will make him wish he never started this nonsense. He'll just have to get used to making his own KFC from scratch.

Folks,
I for one am overweight and I love those fast foods.I know in the back of my mind that all those commercials affect me and turn me on to them.But the real fact is I didnt have to eat them. Our government allows these commercials and I dare to say that there is not one commercial out their that doesnt have something in it that is a lie or misleading.It all depends on the meaning and your interpetation of the message.
But saying that why can America not understand that lawyers are controlling this country and draining it dry.That has already happened in our courts.Courts no longer if ever search for the truth.They only give a lawyer a chance to act and put on a play,almost like people in an audience at a movie theatre and reallly thats what it is.The smartest lawyer and the person with the most money wins. It is not about truth and honesty,it is about greed and power.I for one know firsthand.
The system of Justice in America stands for the rich and powerful and lawyers.Lawyers and the Justice System use "The Rule Of Law" concept to keep all of us on the lower rung of the ladder in check. The "Law" very seldom applies to the rich and powerful unless they are at each others throats,with few exceptions.This country has a tremendous class problem that keeps getting swept under the rug because of political leaders and governments ability to keep issues out front that divide us.Folks the problem in America is not race it is a class issue and the powers to be keep us divided.

If these places had refused him service on the grounds he was too fat, would he have sued them? You can bet your rear he would have!

I'd bet the plaintiff is one of those maroons who orders a double bacon cheeseburger... and a diet Coke.

And I'd bet his lawyer is taking the case on a contingency basis, hoping that lightening will strike, and that some jury, somewhere, will be victimologists. I think the chances of this one going anywhere are slim. You can sue the Pope for being a Catholic, but that doesn't mean you'll win.
