I pray Rep. Joel Hefley realizes he is combing a very thin flap from his left ear over to his right ear. That should be an ethical violation.

...just like T J Maxx....LOL
To: Mo1
I'm gonna miss that crook..he is the only honest crook in congress!
To: Howlin; Alissa
A bit different than 'Oscar Nite,' but Traficant's "acceptance speech" is gonna be a doozy. No tellin' who will take a surprise hit.
To: PJ-Comix
I was wondering if the motion to postpone was a devise to give cover to those that want to vote against expulsion. Is that basically what you were hinting at?

I believe because this is a matter of discipline of a member, a member of Congress has a right to bring the matter to the floor as a matter of privilege.
To: PJ-Comix
...yea, Jim's not going to need it in prison.
To: PJ-Comix
Berman is loving this too much.

Is the requirement for 2/3rds of the House or 2/3rds of those voting? Because the "yes" votes for postponing could turn in to "abstaining" from the final question.
To: marajade
Maybe Traficant's got his crosshairs on Berman? :-D
To: swheats
That little squirrel. This must be his ONLY job in Congress.

Is the requirement for 2/3rds of the House or 2/3rds of those voting? I dunno but it's a good question.
