A lot of House members will vote to expel out of sheer jealousy. Traficant gets more attention with those one-minute "Beam Me Up!" speeches than they ever do with their long-winded speeches.

I have bought software at HUGE discounts there, also a color "golf-ball" computer camera $29, a neat Polaroid camcorder extras set (full-size adjustable tripod,camera bag,etc ) for $7 or $8, name brand battery charger for less than half the usual retail, compact energy-saving light units and lots of other goodies ; but they also have a lot of "made in China" goods.

Shouldn't most of them be in prison, and they're concerned about Trafficant serving with them for 1 month and in prison at the same time.

Jimbo is no friend of Repubs or Dems. I admire rogues. But the standard for expulsion is not the same as in a trial. At his hearing before the House Cmte., he pretty much thumbed his nose at them. Not a very prudent move. If he goes down, he cooked his goose.

Motion to delay is probably decided by a simple majority (of those voting).

Ironically, a vote to defeat the motion to delay will probably HELP Traficant. A lot of Congressmen who might vote in September to expel Traficant, will vote against expulsion because of the rush to judgement. I don't see two-thirds vote there to expel right now because of this issue.
