Don of Maryland Democrat Mob Shoots Yap Off About President's Vacation
Free Republic News Service ^ | July 24, 2002 | aas

Parris "Spendening" Glendening, capo of the Maryland Democrat mob, criticized President Bush on Tuesday for planning to spend a month at his Texas ranch.

"Spendening" took a break from stealing public money and Maryland citizens' 2nd Amendment rights to take a cheap shot at President Bush, acting as though the president has the work ethic of a Maryland Democrat Party ghost worker.

Amazingly, the fawning "jernalists"1 who "reported" the story overlooked the fact that the appointed2 governor of the Democrat People's Republic of Maryland is famous for shamelessly taking advantage of his sinecure. In between boinking his twinky while she was on the payroll3, confiscating taxpayer buck$ for his own personal use4, and attempting to install himself in a $345,000 job after his term as governor5, "Spendening" usually keeps himself pretty busy, steeping in public money.

Apparently, since the do-nothing Democrats on the Hill in Washington are going to spend the next month or two loafing in the shade at home, this piece of partisan garbage was the only the Democragogues could find in a pinch.

It's like finding something moist, smelly and slimy on the sole of your shoe on a hot summer day.

1Bush vacation plans draw heat from Democrat By Jill Lawrence and Kathy Kiely, USA TODAY
2 Vote fraud in Baltimore, Maryland gubernatorial race, 1994; Maryland state Democrat legal operative Stephen Montanarelli "declined to prosecute the voter fraud case".
3Jennifer Crawford, who has been one of three deputy chiefs of staff since June 23, 2000, was promoted by Glendening after serving as his appointments secretary for 19 months. She has been a longtime aide and worked in Glendening's administration during his re-election campaign. Comptroller William Donald Schaefer described Crawford as "the big boss" in Glendening's office.
4taxpayers shelled out $5,000 to install an improved fence at the Governor's Mansion to prevent Jennifer Crawford's new dogs from slipping through her clutches.
5Some critics questioned the ethics of the governor's bid for the $345,000-a-year chancellorship of the University System of Maryland because the governor appointed every regent, who in turn collectively choose the next chancellor. His candidacy may have discouraged other qualified contenders, who assumed Glendening would succeed, from applying. The board is the 17-member group that sets policy for all 13 public colleges and universities in the state.

Ole Parris and his then 'squeeze' would frequently use a contributor's beach house down the street here in DE. He would bring his MD State Police with him for security. They would park, in unmarked cars, here in DE to watch the house.

The beach community has a lot of problems with individuals who park here to avoid paying entrance fees at the state park. Consequentally, nonresident vehicles can legally be towed from a private street.

So, me and the dobes usually mosey on down - like we don't know that this is unmarked MD State Police - and ever so politely inform them that they can't park there (regulations, you know). Obligingly, they would leave only to return later.

At this point, my HUSBAND would take the dobes and mosey on down. . .

Ain't it grand?

GW should invite him down to the ranch for some cedar cutting (in August). Of course, I suspect he would decline the offer.

Thank you, lysander ... ugh ... I'll be so glad to see the end of him.

Today's polls are showing little kathy townsend leading Ehrlich by only 3 points .... something strange is happening in this stupid state ... people are actually thinking.

Never liked "Spendening" ever since he lured ole' Art to Baltimore, along with "da Browns"...but in retrospect, we still have the Browns, and Baltimore still has Art and "the Don", heheHE!!
