Ugh! Can you imagine having to be in such close proximity to that sack of dung? I would shower as soon as I left his presence.

"Reagan spoke a lot. He, like George W., knew how to appreciate the quality of fabrics," de Paris explained. The only interest Clinton likely had in clothes was in how fast he could get the pants off.

This is great! The real Bill Clinton, not the public face, but the private one. I have read several books that suggest that he is a tyrant behind the scenes, unfriendly, rude, and prone to fits of temper!
Hope there are fantastic tell all books sooner or later! I am sure the publishers are rejecting any that aren't favorable so far. Or perhaps former employees are afraid for their lives! But someone else will talk sooner or later, and I will read the stories with great glee!

When the tailor asks him if he dresses left or dresses right, how would Clinton answer? With a bent one, would it be both?

I didn't know that the White House had its own tailor. Who pays for the suits? Please don't tell me that the taxpayer does. Also, wonder who pays for presidential hair cuts.

It's nice to reaffirm that Reagan was class even out of the public eye.

Jimmy Carter "never said anything." That's hard to imagine. I thought he could never shut up.

I learned the other day via I won't say where, that Carter was very bitter about Scoop Jackson, the senator from Washington. He said that Scoop tried to screw him anyway he could, whether it was about the mideast, energy exploration, or otherwise. I raise my glass to Scoop. May he rest in peace.
PS: Scoop was another one of George Will's favorite senators, along with Daniel Patrick Moynihan. George's taste in senators in close to unerring. I raise my glass to him too.

C-SPAN one had a program of airing President Lyndon Johnson's taped phone conversations. For the most part is was ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ B-O-R-I-N-G!
But...............
They once aired a conversation between LBJ and his tailor.
IF you want to listen to a crude, disgusting man....listen to that tape. He talks about airing out his ball$, his "bungehole", and other wonderful stuff.
There is a story that LBJ used to like to urinate in the rose garden. Not because of a lak of nearby toilets or anything...he was just a slob. He once pi$$ed on a nearby Secret Service agent, and said "That't the President's perogative."

"Clinton was very demanding, cold and always occupied," he told AFP.Ugh! I can just imagine what he was occupied with!

"Clinton was very demanding, cold and always occupied," he told AFP. "He was unaware of me completely."Just like Hillary!.
The Clintons were so utterly and completely devoted to themselves, nobody else in the world existed.
Their megolamania was profound.

IIRC, Georges did his tailoring through Brooks Brothers. If I'm thinking about the right Georges, he made a few suits for me many years ago.
One time I had to wait on him to get back from the White House (or maybe it was the Navy Yard; he was making a suit for VP Mondale) for a second fitting I was scheduled for.
If it's the same man, he IS very good. And I was VERY impressed to have the WH's tailor making little ol' me a suit.
