President Reagan is a class act even after the onset of his Alzheimers. I did some work in his office and at his home for about 5 years, and he was always polite and congenial, despite being hard of hearing.
I got to take my daughter up to his office in costume one Halloween, and the other kids were late, so she had him all to herself for about ten minutes. The President horsed around with her and chatted and they had a great time.
She was dressed as Snow White's stepmother, and gave President Reagan a "poisoned apple" right in front of the smiling Secret Service guys, which he enjoyed quite a bit.
