Saying that "no one is above the law," Jesse Jackson recommended Thursday night that President Bush should be "subject to due process" for his sale of Harken Energy stock twelve years ago in a transaction that Democrats say was suspicious.
Jackson recommended Bush's prosecution during an interview on Fox News Channel's "Hannity & Colmes," during the following exchange.
ALAN COLMES: Should he be looked into? Should his actions be looked into when he was with Harken?
JACKSON: Of course, because no one is above the law.....
COLMES: .....A lot of people think that what George Bush did himself is very similar to Enron and some of these other corporations. Should George W. Bush be going to jail?
JACKSON: Well, I don't know whether - he should be subject to at least due process because you cannot deal with this matter without some retroactivity. I mean, his own activity is in question. (End of Excerpt)

Jesse should go to jail first for corporate skullduggery. After he does his time maybe then he could ask that President Bush be prosecuted for Harken.

Is Fox and Hannity and Colmes this hard up for talk show guests?!!
To: Paul Atreides
The bottom line of this whole affair is that Democrats are playing up these so-called financial scandals to distract the public from the War On Terror. They just do not like the idea of America winning wars, especially during Republican administrations.

I love the way Jackson has all of a sudden come out with these ridiculous statements. Could it be that Sharpton just stole his thunder with Michael Jackson? Competing with Sharpton for a Kodak moment again Jesse? Jesse needs to be silenced once and for all and the media is not helping by putting him in front of the camera.

Notice that Colmes was the only one who got to ask questions. Just like when Hillary was on.

I wish just one corporation would have the guts to tell Jesse to go take a flying leap.

This comes from a man who couldn't survive financially
if the IRS would get off it's butt and seriously investigated him! When Italians solicited businesses to "do business" with their friends....it was extortion. When
Jesse does the same thing...its called "civil rights".

A possible crime committed twelve years ago, past the statue of limitations, should be prosecuted if the guilty party is a Republican but perjury committed while in office by a Clintoon should be exempt form even being discussed.

Excuse me ... where was Hannity??

I don't understand how a man who raises money mostly through extortion is qualified to comment on GW's financial dealings. How did unliterate jesse become so sage as to comment on this?
To: Paul Atreides
Je$$e almost got his own folder on my hard drive - I was pretty close with this one.

I wonder if W is regretting not going after these bastards. Jackson should be under a federal indictment.
To: Paul Atreides
Cypress Semiconductor did reject Jackson.

Jessie Jackson is an idiot that happen to be a black mad man because he can't shake bush down.
To: Paul Atreides
A walking RICO crime wave, commenting that nobody is above the law.
OJ's ongoing search for the real killer is less offensive.

"no one is above the law," Jesse Jackson recommended Thursday night that President Bush should be "subject to due process" for his sale of Harken Energy stock twelve years ago. No one is above the law and evidently Bush is below the law. Statute of limitations and all. For a guy who demands "Due process" Jackson knows damn little about it.

I saw the whole interview.
I spend half the time shouting at the TV when Jackson that hypocrite actually suggested Bush should be investigated.
But Colmes was worse, and was obviously trying to instigate Jackson to make even worse accusations against Bush.
It was sickening. No wonder they didn't allow anybody on who might challenge them.
