Don't you think it's time you followed through with your reservations?  It won't be the same without you at FRiva Las Vegas.

See details below.

All those who finish tonight's contest will have achieved Sleuth Status.

Only one Super Sleuth will emerge.  Good luck to each of you!

The FRiva Las Vegas Registration Fees are within reach for several of you.

Good evening Sleuths:

Tonight's the night.  One of you will become a super-sleuth.  Others have continued just for the participation.
I am glad you have enjoyed the contest.

Now, on with the show.

Here's that pesky clue.

Elvira Von Pantington

Key Words: cattle hillary

(Set preferences to "match all words" and "order by post time".) (The thread you're looking for will be within the first five choices. Use the clue just below.)

Clue: How can you tell if an article was written by a Democrat or not?  Well, if the words Hillary Rodham and Cattle are in the title, it wasn't.

Sure you do. Cattle and Hillary are just two of three, and the last clue is a sentence.

Hi D1,

The standings above are the exact standings for everyone that are posted for Night 5 (on the Night 4 thread - post #79, 7/8/02.) Just checking. Is this correct? Thanks.

I think that;
- I hit a hard one off the center field wall,
- the Centerfielder fell down as I rounded 2nd,
- the rightfielder picks up the ball as I approach third,
- the ball is launched at the plate as I round third,
- I see that the ball will come to the far side of the plate,
- I slide headfirst with confidence and stop short of the plate by 12 inches.

I wouldn't be surprised. There had developed a fare spread between most the players. Small differences in placement for one evening wouldn't necessarily change the standings. I will check it out though.

I fell down and couldn't get up. my watch is broke; my shoelaces were tied together; I was just sporting everyone else; I didn't want to win so I didn't try too hard (yeah, right)

I'm a loser. No, not Beck's Loser.
Cheer up ol' chap. We'll get 'em the next one, right proper.

Umm, how about because we started playing the damn game for the first few nights and after getting stood up at the altar a few too many times, we gave up. (Actually, it was obvious who was gonna win this one from the get go, so there wasn't much point in continuing, Phil. So maybe we should all just get over it)
