JABALYA REFUGEE CAMP, Gaza Strip -- Keffaya al-Ajrami is proud to be the mother of a Palestinian suicide bomber.

Last November, her 26-year-old son, Tayseer, strolled up to a guard booth at the Erez Crossing that separates the Gaza Strip and Israel. His mission: Kill as many Jews as possible.

Tayseer calmly lifted a bomb up to a small rectangular slit in the guard booth and detonated it. The explosion ripped off his head and upper body. Two Israeli border police were injured.

His work as Gaza's foremost civil-liberties lawyer earned him the Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights Award in 1991.

Doesn't anybody else gag at the sick humor behind this award? I wonder if Sirhan Sirhan was in the running for that award, too...

I have one question... WHERE ARE their billionaire Arab brothers from Saudi, Kuwait, Yemen, UAE????

The answer, the same place they were for Somalia, Sudan and ANY other predominately Muslim country they want to USE as their terrorists stooges.

During Desert Storm, the cowardly sheiks in Saudi and Kuwait jumped in their private jets and cowered on the French Riviera. Viewing Saddams rapes and slaughter from the comfort of an exclusive night club.

They are wimps and cowards who purposely keep the Palestinians in squalor to ensure an ample supply of Islamakazes.

Are Palestinians simply a people gone mad, a bloodthirsty culture consumed with revenge and hatred?

Yes.

If they are so "desperate", they should take out their own leadership that has lead them down this road of poverty, misery and self distruction. Hey guys, take out Arafat and his mafia chose real leaders and not thugs and maybe you'll be taken seriously. Keep killing innocents and the world won't care about your destruction.

"Almost all Palestinians are confined to only 58 percent of Gaza's 140 square miles. Israeli forces control the other 42 percent of this occupied Arab territory seized from Egypt in 1967. Military bases, buffer zones and bypass roads have been built to protect 7,000 Israeli settlers -- about 0.5 percent of Gaza's population -- who live in 16 major communities here.

"Guard towers, walls and fences ring the land around Gaza. The Mediterranean Sea lies to the west, Egypt to the south and Israel to the north and east.

"Arab residents liken it to a giant prison camp. Those sentiments helped fuel the first Palestinian intifada, or uprising, that erupted here in 1987."

No bias here, no sir. Gaza was annexed by Israel and is a part of Israel. The Arabs lost it in 1967, because they began hostilities against Israel.

As for a "prison camp", well, there is plenty of land where the "Palestinians" can live...in Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Syria, Lebanon...

"All of Palestinian society is fighting all of Israeli society, so no one can be considered a civilian," Abu Shanab said. "It is a war."

There you have it, from their own mouths.

OK. Kill them all and let Allah sort them out.

"Gaza was annexed by Israel and is a part of Israel. The Arabs lost it in 1967 ..." Israeli annexed only East Jerusalem. They have not made any formal claim for these terrritories, and in fact the Israeli govt has made frequent statements denying that they wish to seize these lands. (Obvious nonsense, those statements, but they are part of diplomacy-speak.) The reason why Israel cannot go the annexation route is that it would mean altering their population, absorbing a great many non-Jews.

"Another genocide fan, hmm?" Plenty of genocide fans! And the best bit is when they explain that the reason why they need to see indiscrimate killing and torture - because the Muslims are so BLOODTHIRSTY.

Besides, when this land was under Egypt's control why weren't the Palestinians demanding Egypt give them their own state? Why weren't they sending terrorists into Egypt to blow up their shopping malls and restaurants?

One of the better articles I've read on the current troubles. Gaza is undoubtedly a hell on earth and a fertile soil for the Islamic fundamentalist agitators. History is witness to the fact that apalling living conditions plus an opportunistic idealogue who promises salvation is a perfect recipe for bloodshed. Fascism in Germany and communism in Russia are two obvious examples.

Like it or not, there will be no peace in this region until the mess that is Gaza is resolved. Palestinians were given the shaft when Israel was created, and are now simply worsening their own sorry predicament through their atrocities.

The Middle East is a case study in what happens when the "eye for an eye" mentality is played out to its fullest extent.

"Another genocide fan, hmm?"

Another worshipper of the animals who committed an unspeakable act of war on 9/11/01.

These people have announced--loudly--that they are our mortal enemies, meaning: they want us all dead. You do not negotiate with such people. Their own guy the other day said they are "at war" and that "there are no civilians". This is the attitude that fostered the 9/11 massacre.

If this is war--and there are no civilians, as they have stated and shown by their behavior, we have the right to defend ourselves and do away with the combatants.

In Germany, pre WWII, the Jews were not blowing themselves up in Berlin, were not hijacking aircraft and using them to kill thousands.

Eventually an atomic bomb will blow up in an American city. Then will you understand what and who we are fighting, and what steps are necessary?
