IRVINE, Calif. (AP) - The neighbors of gunman Hesham Mohamed Hadayet knew him as a quiet man with a friendly young son, but also as someone offended by a large patriotic American display.
Hadayet, 41, who also went by the last name Ali, was shot dead by an airline security guard at Los Angeles International Airport on Thursday after he opened fire at an El Al airline ticket counter, killing two people and injuring four.

Hillary seems offended with overt patriotism and the flag too, when is she going to snap?

Also a Good opportunity to get indoctrinated (total immersion) to HATE Jews, American Christians and other cultural American ways (such as 4th of July). Maybe brainwash into harming this country if the kids pschycology is properly seeded by the old man and nurtured properly (no Boy Scouts for you kid).
They wouldn't have to send him back to Egypt for this. There are Muslim summer camps right here in the good old U.S. of A. where the campers are taught, instead of Kum-Ba-Ya, "Slaughter the Jews".

I'm glad it was EL AL and not a domestic carrier, or there would've been a lot more dead. And think of all the money the EL AL gaurd saved us-- no life long prison bill.

Because I don't eat meat or chicken, can we wrap him in the fake bacon but tell them it is real bacon? :) Nah! Pure pig fat for that unholy swine. Rancid walrus blubber is too good for that cowardly, 5th century soldier of Lucifer's Legion.

Doug, wrap him in Beggin' Strips, wogs can't tell the difference!

"he was uncomfortable having his daughter hire [the limo]"
I would be darn uncomfortable too. Isn't the guy supposed to pay for transportation to the prom? Or has this gone by the wayside recently?

Can you tell by several key elements this writer is putting into the reader's mind? Touchy feely, anti patriotic symbolism, arab, jewish, isolationism, envy of wealth. You nailed it, RB. I just turned on my puter, made first coffee of the day, and read this propo-news piece. Had a gut reaction, before mind in gear. Felt sad, sorry for the guy. Imagine that! Two sips of coffee later, mind in gear, enraged at this writer. You notice of course, that her name is CHELSEA.
Clearly, the guy's family knew what he was up to. And perhaps he had a group of "friends" plotting various "isolated incidents" against the country that allows them to have jobs, nice apartments, religious freedom, peace and freedom. In Egypt, even educated men can find no jobs. Here, he apparently did a good little business.
But of coures, he read his Koran. Need I say more?
I do feel sorry for his kids; one apparently American born. Their minds have been torqued around to a horrible extent. Hope they are NOT proud of their rotten father. May the virgins scoff at his package for all time.

I'm not buying the stories about how he was "set off" because of the flags at his neighbors and 4th of July patriotism.
It's more leftist "he's not responsible for his actions"/"we deserved it" drivel.
It's a "Falling Down" defense.
If the shooter had been so irritated by the flag display he would have shot his neighbor. Barring that, he might have gone to a Jewish temple or JCC. Shooting at the airport is an attack designed to cause terror in the minds of people who continue to fly in and out of Israel.

"He complained about it to the apartment manager. He thought it was being thrown in his face," Don't like it? GO HOME!
America is not suffering from a shortage of limo drivers and does not need to provide such employment opportunities for people who after 10 years still do not decide to transistion to citizens of this nation.

I went to that Gavin guy's website and cruised around a bit. Not only is he opposed to spanking, he doesn't believe anybody should have a gun in the house if they have children. Spouts the usual bogus statistics about "x million kids a day killed by guns", and "more likely to kill your kid than anyone else". I was feeling sick so I stopped reading. I don't care WHO he says he is consultant to, he isn't thinking for himself so I'm not interested.
Now, I know there are some kids who shouldn't be spanked, and some who need an occasional pop just to get their attention (I have one of each.) I also know kids whose parents should keep their guns locked securely away until they develop discretion and a lot less curiosity (a coded locking gun safe bolted to the bed frame is another alternative). But for some "security expert" to state categorically that nobody with kids should have a gun in the house at all, is crazy.
As for this news article, it's absolutely calculated to try to generate some sympathy for this loser. As for the folks in LE who are trying to say this wasn't terrorism, when it fits the pattern exactly (including sending the family home right before the crime), I HOPE they are trying to lull our enemies into a false sense of security while they round them up. (I hope, I hope, I hope . . . )

Surely there MUST be a standard textbook for the initial textbook used in
journalism school that says this is the standard line to open stories about
terrorist thugs, serial killers and "spree" murderers!
It's just the way The National Lampoon magazine (about 20 years ago) had a "centerfold"
of press clippings from newspapers around the world about accidents involving buses
that had fallen/been driven off roadways.
No matter if it was in Europe, Asia, or South or North America, the stories all,
in the opening paragraph noted that "the bus plunged" whether it went off a
mountain road into a canyon or off the side of a narrow bridge.
The bus always "plunges"!

I think some people have this stupid idea that just because we have lots of different cultures living here, we should just drop our flag, our national language, and our heritage and become completely homogenousThey are not stupid. This is a part of the Islamist subversive agenda

but it isn't just Islamists that think this way. Here in California just about every sign is in several languages. What happened to the days when immigrants would come here seeking a better life and they actually bothered to learn English because they knew it was the main language spoken here?

My husband had a Middle Eastern limo driver last fall that happened to be from Afghanistan. The driver was ranting and raving about how the US was bombing his country and killing innocent people who had nothing to do with the WTC attack. My husband asked him why he was here in the US if he was so concerned about his country and told him to take his family and go back there. The guy just kept on complaining, so my husband told him to just shut up and keep driving. My husband said that it was a good thing that there were other people in the limo with him because he probably would have punched the guy instead of telling him to shut up.

but it isn't just Islamists that think this wayNote that people who do think this way are invariably in cahoots with the Islamists, support Palestinian terrorism, etc
