Yes, she's that stupid. My first thought was, "Good shooting, El Al!"

It was a prank call by a Stern caller. As soon as he said "artie took my job" I told my sister to turn on CNN to listen to the Stern caller.Given the circumstances, I'd like to see that prankster's phone shoved down his throat.

Boy, the price you pay for flying a plane.

PLANE DOWN IN CROWD IN SAN DIMAS Source? I am about 5 miles from San Dimas, didn't hear a thing. Unless it just crash landed.
To: Joe Hadenuf
Where did you hear about the plane down in San Dimous (Sp)?

KABC 7 ... Now reporting the shooter fired "at random" ... conflicts with earlier report...

Sounds reminiscent of terrorist attacks at Rome and Vienna Airports during Christmas season of 1985--as you'll recall, scores of people died in those attacks, carried out by Middle Eastern terrorists. In both of those incidents, gunmen rushed into the terminal and sprayed ticket counters with automatic weapons fire.
Gunman was apparently taken out by El Al security. This may sound strange (in light of the apparent casualties) but it could have been much, much worse. Here's hoping officials at other American airports have put down their doughnuts, and are moving the security perimeter out past the ticket counter.

It's getting harder and harder for me to be opposed to any action that Israel takes in their defensive interests. Even if one harbors token annoyance at a stubborn policy or group, it doesn't take long to be slammed back into reality. Some poor guy was murdered because he had the audacity to work the ticket counter for an Israeli Airline in Los Angeles, California. 6000 miles, and absolute uninvolvement in Israeli affairs, wasn't enough of a buffer for this poor man I guess.

Private plane, probably small two to four seat. Near private airport in San Dimas. Crashed into open park area.
