An Independence Day Without Borders
CNSNews.com ^ | July 02, 2002 | Alan Caruba

Independence Day 2002 comes with the threat of terrorism, but there is another threat that many Americans still have not fully comprehended.

They would do well to consider the way their nation is being transformed by a virtual torrent of illegal aliens from Mexico. The issue is not that they are Mexicans, but the sheer volume of their numbers.

America has become a nation that cannot maintain its borders, nor manage immigration that is three times higher than the next highest receiving nation.

In the first six months of this year, the US Border Patrol apprehended 176,655 illegal aliens in just the 21-mile Douglas, Arizona, section alone! The same individual may be apprehended more than once, and the Border Patrol estimates that for every one that is caught, three to five are not.

Since 1983, at least a half-million illegal aliens have entered the U.S. from our southern border.

According to a study commissioned by Americans for Immigration Control, Inc., 58% of Mexican respondents said that the US Southwest "belonged" to Mexico, while 28% disagreed. Asked if Mexicans should have the right to enter the US without permission, 57% agreed. By contrast, fully 65% of Americans asked whether illegal aliens should be granted amnesty and allowed to stay said no.

A study by the non-profit Center for Immigration Studies confirms that "annual immigration in 2030 will still approach 400,000 a year, 8.3 to 11.4 percent higher than the 370,000 estimated for 2000."

The Mexican-born population of the United States will double to 18 million by the year 2030. There is a powerful incentive for this because, in the last decade, Mexican immigrants sent more than $45 billion to their relatives. In 2000, they sent $6 billion or about $17 million a day.

Are there elements of the Mexican government carrying out a strategic depopulation program, centered around approximately ninety communities within central and southern Mexico? Some informed sources believe this to be the case.

Making matters worse, according to Rep. Tom Tancredo (R- Colo.), since 1996, there have been 118 incursions across the border into the U.S., 61 by Mexican military and 57 by Mexican law enforcement. At least 60% of the time, the Mexicans were armed. Sometimes U.S. border guards come under fire.

President Bush's enthusiastic support for yet another amnesty program for illegal aliens is just wrong, wrong, wrong.

The entire population of illegal aliens granted amnesty in 1986 have been replaced by new ones. This is why, at current rates, between legal and illegal immigration into this nation, we will double our population within the lifetimes of today's college students.

In the last decade, the 11.2 million immigrants who arrived, plus the 6.4 million children born to immigrants living here, equal 70% of the nation's population growth. That's just flat-out too much, too fast.

Gee, maybe the truth is finally starting to dawn on some people.

11.2 million immigrants who arrived, plus the 6.4 million children born to immigrants living here, equal 17.6 million mexicans in the US since 1990. This is an amazing figure when you take into account that Mexicos own population grew by a almost identicle 17.3 million people during the same period of time.

It seems they have found a way to half their population growth rate.

"We may not overcome, but we will overwhelm."

Xavier Hermosillo - September, 1992, Sacramento, California

Mexico has been waging demographic warfare against the United States for decades.

Xavier Hermosillo, a Los Angeles radio talk show host:

In 1993, proclaimed on the CBS 48 Hours show that Mexican-Americans were taking political control of the "former Mexican colony, California ... house by house, block by block". Excelsior - The national newspaper of Mexico "The American Southwest ("AZTLAN") seems to be slowly returning to the jurisdiction of Mexico without firing a single shot."

It's about time people started waking up and taking this onslaught seriously.

I just don't buy the idea that the Mexican government is using illegal immigration as some sort of strategy. The Mexican government is just not that intelligent. The fact that illegal immigration has worked to the advantage of the elites in Mexico is an accident that they are going to take advantage of for as long as we let them.

We can maintain our borders. We can manage immigration. This and past administrations simply refuse to enforce our laws and quotas.

We are being overwhelmed. Our political climate is changing. Here in Texas our politicians are holding political debates in Spanish.

We have to stop it now before it is too late.

The only answer at this point is to put the military on the borders until we can figure out where to go from there. As Reagan said, a country without borders isn't a country.

Yes, I'm sure their intentions are benign.

"We have Nicaragua, soon we will have El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Costa Rica, and Mexico. One day, tomorrow or five years or fifteen years from now, we're going to take 5 to 10 million Mexicans and they are going into Dallas, into El Paso, into Houston, into New Mexico, into San Diego, and each one will have embedded in his mind the idea of killing ten Americans."

--Thomas Borge, Nicaragua Interior Minister as quoted in the Washington Times, March 27, 1985

Sounds like we need a Citizens Committee to assist the INS (in kicking them out) and the Border Patrol (in keeping them out).

Yes, it appears that Houston has seen a huge influx of illegal Mexicans. Thus, that statement is correct.

It's clear as day is to night that the U.S. government doesn't care about our borders and sovereignty. It's also apparent that they don't care about our culture. After all, they're celebrating all this multiculturalism. It was George W. who held a Cinquo De Mayo Celebration at the White House, but failed to hold a similar celebration on Independence Day. Doesn't that tell you something.

Our country is being run by a bunch of individuals who do not have our best interests at heart. Sure, there are a few brave men who are doing their best, but there aren't enough of them.

I'm afraid that most avenues of government, whether it be in city, state or federal, are being run by people who care more about themselves getting re-elected than doing what is right. It sickens me to know that these people actually think that they are serving the people.

I see a country with so much potential, and I don't get how we can continue to allow the same crap to continue.

For example, we continue to allow millions of babies to be butchered year after year. What kind of travesty is that. It's insane, and only an absurd government would allow it to happen, not to mention not be willing to do anything about it.

Every year, we continue to allow more and more illegals to cross our borders, soak up social services, which causes taxes to increase which causes many other social ills. Are the politicians that stupid, afraid, want to be re-elected, or do they simply not care. I'm afraid that it is a bit of each.

My goodness. We continue to be meddled into foreign policy so much, in which we have no business being, all the while our sovereignty is being mocked.

The lack of concern by the government has led to corporations labeling their productts in Spanish, in our country. Of course, politicians have profited off illegal immigration through campaign contributions, so I suppose that it is no big surprise.

Yes, it appears that we have a goon squad running our country. Tancredo comes from a different era, a time in which most politicians weren't as crooked. A time in which the peoples' interests were more heard as opposed to the multinational corporations' voice being heard.

There are so many times that I wish that I had a voice in some arena. I wouldn't mince words, whether on radio, television or the government. Things have got to come under control. As it now stands, we're heading towards bankruptcy, yet none of the goon squad can consider the fact of cutting government. You see, if they did that, they wouldn't be making as much money (from your money), and we can't have that, can we? Unfortunately, I believe that you know the answer, at least in politicians' minds you do.

Until people understand that our enemies are already in Washington DC, nothing will change.

What the hell does it take for American's to act like those mythical American's we think our forefathers were?

For thirty years YOU were told "BUY AMERICAN", there's no such thing anymore.

WHY?

Because "American's" sat on their asses and watched as their government actively recruited businesses to relocate in other countries and paid for the moves with our taxes.

Now "American's" wave their flags (made in China) showing their Patriotism (ignorance).

But Hey, who cares if our Children have a future.

Obviously we don't.

Maybe with government education they will never know "we" sold them out.

Maybe if we act like it's not there, nobody will blame "us".

If I can just make it to retirement, then who cares.

Well, wake up and smell what You think is roses.

There will not be any retirement for many of us, and there certainly won't be for our Children.

Or maybe you aren't watching the ERON'S and WORLDCOM'S happen.

"The Central Bank is an institution of the most deadly hostility existing against the principles and form of our Constitution. I am an enemy to all banks, discounting bills or notes for anything but coin. If the American people allow private banks to control the issuance of their currency, first by inflation and then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around them will deprive the people of all their property until their children will wake up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered."

Thomas Jefferson

What does it take, This man told us what would happen long after he died. Not because he was a Prophet, but because he understood what happened in Europe.

The Bible even denounces "usury". That's what the international banksters who own the federal reserve charge us in addition to the taxes they take from us, to promote their agenda, WORLD RULE.

The Mexican's this article is talking about are being used against us, to promote the elites agenda. It's been that way for centuries.

The elites use us against each other to achieve their goals, while they hold a carrot in front of us, so that we can feel like we won.

It's going to take a lot more than voting to change things in America.

I'm not sure most of You have the stomach for it.

It's going to take a lot more than wearing "Patriotic" shirts made in Mexico to change things.

But at least we still have a choice, fight or speak Spanish. That and a tan might get You a low wage job, somewhere........
