President Bush arrived back at the White House this afternoon after a weekend at Camp David. The President made some brief remarks to reporters regarding his colonoscopy yesterday. Because the procedure showed no signs of polyp reoccurrence, the President will not need another colonscopy for five years. The procedure hasn't interrupted his workout routine as Bush ran three miles today and took a walk in the woods with wife, Laura. The President has a busy schedule this week before heading to Ripley, WV on the 4th. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!
President's Holiday Week Schedule:
Monday: Cleveland, OH- regarding domestic agenda, including the vouchers decision.
Tuesday: Milwaukee, WI- regarding religious groups in the adminstration of welfare programs
Wednesday: Washington- to celebrate the 200th anniversary of the Lewis and Clark expedition
Fourth of July: Ripley, W.Va.- July Fourth celebration where veterans will be honored

Yeah, he's got one for sure. Plus he thinks being pushed to the max physically is enjoyable.
I guess I shouldn't have worried about him, huh? :o)

Thanks for the pixes -- the President looks rested and ready for a busy week!
Hope everyone read the NY Daily News article, "Bush Keeps It Clear & Simple", published on another FR thread. The following passage from this article needs to be added to 'our' list of the President's MANY accomplishments since taking office a mere 18 months ago:
"In less than two years, Bush has savaged conventional wisdom by dropping the anti-ballistic missile treaty, green-lighting Star Wars, walking away from the Kyoto global warming pact, boycotting a United Nations conference on human rights and saying no to the new international criminal court in The Hague. He has taken the U.S. to war without the permission of a coalition, restored "good" and "evil" to the language of big-power diplomacy and introduced an American defense doctrine of unilateral preemption. And now he is insisting that the price of self-determination should be civilized behavior.
This is a foreign policy revolution unmatched even by President Ronald Reagan."

Jonathan had fun in Basic too, he loved it....it pays to be in shape.
Jonathan has called me more than usual this weekend....he had his Sat and Sun pass revoked....it seems one of the guys didn't pass inspection(had one thing outta place in his locker) and since Jonathan is Squad leader he was punished....the other guy got his pass though!....LOL....I cheered him up and he knows it was his responsibilty....I kept reminding him that his time is short and he will soon be home.
