President Bush arrived back at the White House this afternoon after a weekend at Camp David. The President made some brief remarks to reporters regarding his colonoscopy yesterday. Because the procedure showed no signs of polyp reoccurrence, the President will not need another colonscopy for five years. The procedure hasn't interrupted his workout routine as Bush ran three miles today and took a walk in the woods with wife, Laura. The President has a busy schedule this week before heading to Ripley, WV on the 4th. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!
President's Holiday Week Schedule:
Monday: Cleveland, OH- regarding domestic agenda, including the vouchers decision.
Tuesday: Milwaukee, WI- regarding religious groups in the adminstration of welfare programs
Wednesday: Washington- to celebrate the 200th anniversary of the Lewis and Clark expedition
Fourth of July: Ripley, W.Va.- July Fourth celebration where veterans will be honored

I'm not sure. I couldn't see what the little boy was doing because of the camera angle.
He just took a lot of time with people, shaking hands, signing autographs, including some on baseballs, posing for pictures with his arm around people..........I was so jealous!! LOL!
BTW, Eric wrote, and talked about having to change clothes back and forth from BDU's to PT's and lining up in 5 minutes, over and over again. He said that he couldn't ever remember working up a sweat changing clothes! He also said he was looking forward to the obstacle course. Believe it or not, he's having fun!

Broke my heart...I was neighbors with her mom before I got divorced and moved. Sweetest girl...her mom had one breast removed from cancer as well. Terran has two of the sweetest little boys, Austin and Ethan...so young.
Thank you for the prayers. I was iffy on having my mammogram done when I turn 36 next year, but I'm definitely going to do it now.

I will certainly pray for Terran, and for the doctors. How tragic at such a young age.

Prayers for your friend. Thanks Rintense for the pictures. Love the way Laura and her mother hold hands. Wonder if it's in lue of her mother using a cane in public (like my aunt) Either way it's a GREAT show of Laura's love.

Yes RBA, in both.

DallasGal- this is like a HS classmate of mine- we are both 27 and she has had a double mastectomy and about a 50/50 chance and two little boys. Her name is Kim and I pray for her everynight- was a good friend of mine and it is scary to think of someone my age dying.
BTW no offense to people over 50 with my remark. ;-D

Very scary stuff....I'm sure she has a good chance but I watched someone I knew at church become decimated with cancer and she fought so hard, it was horrible...
To: DallasGal
Don't put it off. With new machines (Check to see what is available in your area) it's quite painless Also check, your insurance should cover it. Well worth the "peace of mind"

I won't be putting it off...I have a great OB/GYN and she told me when I had my check up that they were now doing baselines for women at age 35 so to schedule it when I had my next yearly.

Yes, but needed to get certain things back into place.
